  1. Re: BIG BUCK DOWN! **IMPENDING NEW WORLD RECORD! NY!!! LOL! Reminds me of Willie and Billie's Cari-whitetail off Incomplete Hunter 3!
  2. Re: Rut in the Mountains of Virginia Yeah what AJ said. It's usually the very first of muzzleloading through November. We've been finding tons of scrapes already that are cleaned out everyday, which is a good sign its almost here.
  3. Re: Is There Mast In Your Area? They came late this year for us, but we didnt get as many as we did last year. They barely missed the frost this year, I bet it still got alot of them though. Last year was loaded with acorns, the bear ate them all though, one day you would come across a flat loaded with acorns on the ground, then come back the next day, see claw marks up a couple oak's, and all the acorns would be gone on the ground. Pretty wild stuff.
  4. Re: West Virginia area shooter I live less than 2 hours away from Charleston, which is where this dude is at. And if he heads south down the interstate, we are the first big city he'll come too, so that's really not good. I hope they catch him.
  5. Climbing sticks are the only way to go. We have a set and they set up quicker than it takes to screw in steps into the tree, and they provide super stability if you get them tight. You won't be dissapointed with them!
  6. Re: History Channel yesterday I saw both the Army Sniper one and the Law Enforcement one. I thought it was really neat, especially that the law enf. snipers started out with a 30.06 and now use a .308 with a 165 gr. bullet. I've always heard that they use like a .223 or .243. I'd love to be a sniper though. After training, you could go hunting with your buds, and you would be like "See that nice 8 point way out there?" "You mean that little ant?" "Yeah that's it. Anyways, It's going down."
  7. Re: Want a new release Hey huntinson, if the deal with you and jimt doesn't fall through for the release, I will be more than happy to purchase it from you.
  8. Re: Releasing the riser Owwww. I can only imagine..... I'd hate to see what would happen if you were to dry fire a 70 lb bow. Ouch!
  9. I usually go over to the deer, after I have hooted and hollered, and just have me a sit down next to it, thank the lord, and think about the drag out. The first deer I ever killed got me crying like a baby lol. I'll never forget that moment.
