had it done last july, was off work one week but was on tight restrictions, i work as a manager in a local resturant, all the boss would let me do was supervise the crew and do books, the doc wanted me to be off the full six weeks untill i told him of my job duities. as some have said don't push it and in your line of work it may take longer than the six weeks that until you get up to full steem, it's been ten months for me and i still feel like crap....best of luck to you...

about the same thing happened here last year. man was shot and killed....a deer hunter on a draw hunt in a federal reserve shot a person walking threw the woods on the way out to the lake to work on duck blinds...o.k. man was not be be in the area. hunter should have had positive i.d . on target before pulling trigger... the fact is a person is dead. who was at fault? i feel both were. this is really troubling to me because the man that fired the trigger was my cousin. he has hunted all his life and i know his dad told him many times to never pull that trigger until you have positive i d...it happened and now families have to suffer.just remember once that trigger is pulled there's no stopping it, and it hurts....have positive i.d. on your target and beyond every time you hunt with what ever you hunt with...

just wanted to stop in and say hi ya's to you all. I'm doing pretty good, working more than i want to hunting less than i want to. Haven't really been out to much this season for i lost the farm i hunted last season due to the money crunch and the farm sold. I have the small acreage behind my house and seeing some nice deer on it but no shots with archery tackle.but the mz season comes in next weekend so maybe i can scare a few as my shooting is bad . i will be going to mississippi on the disabled hunt in december and can't wait to get there...hope you all have had and will have a great season this year. next year i will be able to hunt all i want for i think i am going to completely retire from the work force and allow the younger generation to take over ,and man that scares me to death ... you all have a good day and God Bless

well folks first i'd like to say sorry for not being online as much as i like but being a mananger is a lot of work with people quiting left and right and trying to keep coustomer service up....and then there's hunting season...erhhhhhhhhh.....well got off this weekend and took my grandson on his last youth hunt....it was a blast getting into the woods again...the morning started off great. Cool or cold weather greaated us as we ventured out at 5:00. we got to one of the many places we get to hunt, with great anticipation. we sat not seeing a thing until around 7:30 then my granson saw movement at about 30 yards out in a brush thicket. i grunted softly on the call and two steps later a nice 2 1/2 year old 7 point buck stepped out, still covered with brush between us cj could see the neck portoin of the buck....then blam....smoke,(as he will only use a mz loader) as the smoke cleared i watched the buck run off across a tall weed patch. a few minutes later i could not keep him on the stand so we climbed down and started to try and track him....there was no sign so i followed the trail the deer had traveled and walked right up on him i've got pic's so if anyone can get them to post would appreaciate it ...thanks...

i can give you the e-mail adress for a hunt in mississippi ...at arkabutla lake...it cost nothing but your transportation....of course the deadline is already past but if all the hunting slots are not filled (which they may not be this year as to the high gas cost) i can get you in... it's a three day hunt, your allowed a doe per day and one buck 4 point or better...it's a great hunt and loads of fun even if no deer are taken...we hunt 40 people per three day hunt and have to hunts in a week... it's totally funded but donations and you are supplied with what ever you need to hunt... 3 great meals per day and they do have a sleeping lodge and bunk house for those who need it ...just e-mail me and i'll get you the info...
