  1. I honestly think that the Alpins Soft-Lok is by far the best bang for your buck as far as quivers are concerned.
  2. It has been that way in CT for close to 10 years. I am not a smoker, but I had mixed feelings about it. As a non smoker, I can say I do love going into a resturant, and it being smoke free. I didn't realize how much I appreciated it until we went into a resturant in PA a few years ago and were asked if we wanted smoking ot non smoking....it doesn't really matter. If someone is smoking in a small enclosed area, everyone gets the results ofthe smoker. The bar and tavern owners in CT were up in arms about it here when it went into effect. I haven't seen a bar close because of it. A lot of the bars opened "patios" that were outside where drinks could be served and people could smoke. A big part of me likes it, but another part of me hates it because I wonder what they( goverment) is going to attempt to control next.
  3. shooting that group, with a fieldpoint, and 2 different broadheads, shows that you have a fairly well tuned bow. What does your 3 arrow group with fieldpoints look like at that range?
  4. I hear you Todd, and I feel for you Ruth...nothing like going to a tree stand site, and there not being a treestand. Haven't lost a cam yet. Unfortunately, it seems to be happening more and more often!
  5. 100 grain Wasp Boss Bullets....They say a picture is worth a thousand words!
  6. Exactly what I was going to suggest. If you were showing signs of being stiff on spine, try 125 grain heads, or try your arrows an inch and a half or so longer.

    Ladies and Gentlemen

gooddeal!!!...congrats Mike. I know I put in my share of votes!!! You better take a ton of pics on the hunr Mike!!
  8. I know i am the minority, but I had nothing but trouble with bucknasty's stings and cables. After 2 sets that were far from perfect and John gave me a refund. I know it sounds like i'm plugging them for my own benifit, as I'm a staff shooter for them, but VaporTrail strings are top notch. Their customer service is awesome. If you call with your order tomorrow, you will have it on Friday or Saturday. I've been on Vapor Trails Staff for the past few months, but I have been shooting VT's exclusively for the past 6 years. I only apply ofr staff on product that I have used and proven to be a good product. If you want more info, pm me and I will give you my phone number to contact me.

    If you have Facebook

These are my thoughts exactly....not my business what anyone else does. While it may not be for me, I don't hold lifestyle, or sexual preference against anyone else. Much more imprtant issues in the world today then this.
  10. How did I miss this!!!!! This working 2 jobs, and not having time to spend on the forums is killing me!!! Hope to see you later this year, or next year in Hartford Tim.
  11. That actually made sportcenter? I'm surprised.
  12. Saw this watching the Uconn Women in the Big East championship game last night. I gaurantee you'll never see THIS happen in the mens game.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slyw1Ovhysg&rel=0&border=1&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"> I'm sure coach had a few word to say about this, but I found it pretty humorous watching the game last night.

Everytime I try to access the forums using Internet Explorer, I get an error message saying....... Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired. 15. Knee mail on the way from my wife and I to your family Kyle. Hang in there! We hope everything works out quickly for you all!
  16. I had a root canal last January. The first part of it where they drill and remove everything took about an hour and a half. I was in al ittle pain afterwards, but worked a full day. It wasn't that bad. I can't remember how long the second part took, butto me the worst part was being in the chair with my mouth propped open for so long. the pain was bearable. Ok, I guess I should say the worst part was the price. I have no dental insurance, and the whole procedure cost me $2400. Now that really hurt!!!
  17. Thanks again for accepting me on your team as a replacement. I totally enjoyed being part of this team, and I'm glad I was able to contribute to the teams sucess!

  19. Team 10 was a great team to be a part of. I wasn't originally part of this team, as I missed the sign-up. I want to thank everyone on our team for accepting me as a replacement for G.W. smith. Also, thank you Gary for offering me your spot. Now we just have to vote Toddy's buck as the best deer of the contest!!!!
  20. So sorry to hear this Dale. Prayers sent brother!
  21. Jen and I met in May of 1994. We bought a home together in Sept of 1997, and I bought her a ring on Sept 17, 1999. We got married on Sept 25 1999. Dated for 5 1/2 years, and had an 8 day engagement. Been married going on 11 years.
  22. 2 weeks to go!! Team 14 still has hunters out. Be really nice to pull this off. I've been in t his since the first year, and have never been on a team that came close to winning. No matter what it was fun, and thanks once again for letting me fill in on your team.
  23. Sounds like our house Gary. I been down with a sinus infection for 5 days, and Jen with a stomach virus for 2 days. We never even got to get out for V-day presents or a card, or to go out for dinner. Was a non-event here.
  24. Maybe you should think before you post!
  25. I would without a doubt, put it toward the Sure-loc X-Press Pro bow press that I am currently saving for. Hopefully will have the extra money put aside by end of Feb, if work doesn't slow down.
