    Roadtrips

Re: Roadtrips I agree, Roadtrips is an awesome show, and Michael is a great host. One of the top hunting shows that is produced.
  4. Re: Yes yes yes!!!!!! Good luck on your weekend hunting, score on a nice one.
  5. Re: Stepdad connected on a sixer(pics) Congrats to your stepdad, nice looking buck.
  6. Re: When are they old enough? I believe that if your son is showing that much interest already, then I don't see a problem with getting him a bow and letting him shoot at targets. Genesis makes a good bow that is a compound, that supposedly anyone, a child, senior citizen, or whoever can draw the bow. Good luck with your decision.
  7. Re: New to the forums Welcome, enjoy these forums, greatest group of people that you will find.
  8. Re: Hospital right now You got it, prayers said.
  9. Re: Pope and Young or not? I would say yes, 125 to 130 is my guess. He is a nice looking animal.
  10. Re: Update from Kansas Both videos were cool. Had some really nice bucks on the 2nd video. Good luck on your hunting this season.
  11. Re: my girl freinds is in need of prayer My prayers are with your girlfriend and her family.
  12. Re: Tree Stand Fright It sounds to me that it is the height, not the fear of climbing. If you can get to the last step on the ladder stand anyways. When you reach the last step, how high up are you? I would suggest that you use your climber, but only go up as high as the last step of your ladder stand, until you are comfortable with that height. After that you may be able to go higher. You can always camo yourself in your stand. Good luck to you on your decision.
  13. Re: Opening day in WV I went out opening day in the evening. It was so windy, that you couldn't hear a thing. With so many leaves on, I didn't see anything either. When I came out of the woods, I saw about 12 deer. Oh well plenty of days left yet to get a deer.
  14. Re: Dads having heart surgery again. prayers sent, and hoping for a speedy recovery.
  15. Re: first deer with crimson talon Congrats on your score there, it is meat in the freezer.
  16. Re: My biggest archery buck Congrats on a great looking animal. plenty of meat in the freezer there.
  17. Re: Memorial to Jody Alan Crum That is great, and I too know how you feel. I lost my older brother when I was 18yrs old, and that was an extremely hard thing to deal with. As a matter of fact, on the 15th of this month it will be 30 yrs since he has been gone. I think of him often, and the many things I have missed out on, but I remember many things that we also did together and I cherish each and every one of them. Trust me, he will be there, and you will know it, you'll feel it and you'll love it.
  18. Re: People who just don\'t understand!!!! I have to agree with you about this, I have taken deer that I have had to drag from deep in the woods. I hunt deep in the woods and around gun season I hunt the thick cover. A better chance to see the big bucks you talk about. You definitely cannot hunt once in a while, or road hunt, or not spend any time in the woods and expect to score on a big buck.
  19. Re: Before and After Shots That is definitely a nice deer, congrats on your hunt . That will make a nice mount.
  20. Re: The Longbow connects (pic) Congrats on using the traditional bow and making a good clean kill. Nice looking buck also, meat in the freezer.
  21. Re: check out this pig!!!! That is definitely a pig, one awesome deer. tell your buddy I will be glad to come and hunt on his property if he needs another hunting partner.
  22. Re: Headed out Coming down to gods country are you. Well I wish you good luck on your trip and a safe journey. Save me one of the big ones, ok!!!
  23. Re: BUCK OF A LIFETIME!!! 2006 Awesome buck, it looks like at least a 23 inch inside spread, and he has great mass. Congrats on an awesome kill and a great hunt.
  24. Re: someones hunting my spot!! If that is the case why don't you put up no hunting, no trespassing signs just on your side of the property line and then hunt that area to see if they violate. If so then inform the game warden as to what happened. That should take care of the problem.
  25. Re: Burns My Hide......grr (SE Michigan) Be glad that you have some private property to hunt with only a few hunters. Granted if the guy is misusing the privledge then hopefully the landowner will pull his permit. But what I am saying there are alot of hunters out there who would give their right arm (not literally) to be able to hunt that much property with so few others.
