  1. Re: Feathers or Plastice Vanes? Feathers are more forgiving. I shoot mostly feathers but this year I'm using quick spins.
  2. Re: My Dilema It could go either way you could help them out by moving deer by them. Go for it
  3. Re: For those of you shooting fall away rest I shoot with mine down
  4. Re: need some advice How much KE do you have?
  5. Re: The First Time... Congrats. great hunt
  6. Re: crossbow debate In MO you have to have a disability to hunt with one during Bow season. My Grandfather hunts with one he is missing a thumb. I think it's great that he hunts with one.
  7. Re: Joined the Summit Gang last nigt. welcome, I love mine it's just like sitting in a lazy boy IMO.
  8. Re: Rubber O-Ring On Rocket Broadheads.... I use the sledgehammer and the hammerheads for turkey. I've not had a problem with them opening. I would be afraid by moving the bands down they will open during fight and sent your arrow off target.
  9. I've not used bow jacks. cat whiskers have always worked and lasted well for me.
  10. Re: HOW TO - Put on a wrap great post thats exactly how I do it
  11. Re: First Kill congrats on your first bow kill and waiting for a good shot.
  12. Re: Best screw in steps [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I'd go with the ones that look like a stick ladder. [/ QUOTE ] took the words right out of my mouth [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I've vowed to never use screw in steps again. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto
  13. Re: Sonic Heads - Broadheads? Check out this web site. Very good info read about LIBERTY 125 GRN www.broadheadtests.com/NEWHEADS.html
  14. Re: Any Christian Hunters in here? Yes sir
  15. Re: Good Luck to Sept. 15 Openers Thanks, I'm going tommorrow to put something down. I'm not picky doe, buck, turkey Good luck everyone
  16. Re: 40 yrd ROBIN HOOD [ QUOTE ] Is that a Switchback? [/ QUOTE ] No, it's a LX
  17. I got my first ROBIN HOOD today and it came at 40 yrds. I can't believe it, so I took pictures of course. I hate the fact that I ruined a arrow but now I can hang it on the wall
  18. Re: Vertical Pins? I love mine. I have a 5 pin which is nice for target practice out to 60 yards. For hunting only I would use a 3 pin IMO.
  19. Re: Carbon Exp. CX200\'s I just fletched 12 going to give them a try myself.
  20. Re: which broadhed to use? [ QUOTE ] I have 2 sets of broadheads the N.A.P. shockwaves and the razorbacks. Both 100gr. Which one is the better of the 2 based on arrow flight and blood trails. Haven't had a chance to shoot them, I am leaning toward the Razorbacks but don't know if they fly true. [/ QUOTE ] It will also depend on your KE. You don't want to shoot mech. if your KE is low . You will have better penetration with a fixed blade. If your KE is good shoot whatever you like.
  21. Re: Broadheads [ QUOTE ] I was just curious what you folks thought I maybe should use as far as broadheads and what grain to use. I am shooting at 50# and using Gold Tip 3555's, with an 80 grain field tip at the moment. I like the look of the G5's from Montec, or maybe the Muzzy 4 blades that look like the G5's. I'm looking for something that will cut well at that low of a poundage, and fly true. Thanks a million. [/ QUOTE ] Sounds like NAP NITRONS would be great. Check them out.
  22. Re: bow quiver If you want to carry one cat quiver would work great. If you want one for your bow alpine soft lock comes with bushings to move it away form your sight if needed.

    Blinds

Re: Blinds double Bull T 2 pricey but not to bad. Works great.
  24. Re: quik spin vanes Not loud unless damaged from hitting vane (with fieldpoints) done that, but I'm sure all vanes would be like that. They fly the same wavy.
  25. Re: BROADHEADS???? what u using Going with NAP Nitrons this year. 100 grain
