my AC has been on since MARCH i hate sweating in my own house, i spend too much time in 140 degree plus attics i'll be darned if i'm sweating when i get home!!!! ac is one of man's greatest inventions!!!!

i plan on working on my house, new bathroom vanity,some cosmetic repairs on the exterior, laminate flooring in my walk in closet, start patching holes in my son's walls....etc........ no partying here.

just like most of gods creatures it is just looking for food....i would have caught it and let it go deeper in the woods !!!! i am a snake lover, until i moved to maryland i owned a 71/2 feet long boa constrictor ...he was eating 2 pound rabbits ........ when i first moved down here i caught a copperhead before i new it was a copper head i was holding it like i would a garden snake, when my buddy said copperhead i dropped it and started counting my blessings , it easily could have bitten me because i never controlled the head... god had his hand on me that day.......wheeew !!!!!

if it continues i would build a speed bump...put a 8 inch tall pile of pee gravel or something like it across the road....60mph and speedbumps he might slow down after that!!!!!!! is your road a county road or private road? if it is private talk to others that live on the street and see if they would object to a real speedbump(blacktop,tar) i live on a street that ends in a culde-sac, this neighborhood is loaded with kids,,, i yell at people to slow down year round!!!!! the occasional tuff guy stopps and wants to run his mouth (never get out of thier cars) but most people slow down!!!!! i know that if one of my kids gets hit , the driver won't need to worry about the cops!!!

when i was a kid...and i got my butt beaten when i got in the car with my mom...she made me wish i was still in custody!!!!!!

i would put my stand in a tree about 30-50 yards away from either food source but on that trail (20-25 yards away) you don't want to wait till last light unless you have to ....get them on the way to the food sources!!!!!!!

i went out last weekend...... i love sleeping to the sound of crickets and other night critters.... i will be going again in 2 weeks but this time we will be camping in kentucky!!!!! can't wait for that one!!! my daughter is trying to get us to rent a cabin.in my opinion that's just not camping...........

unfortunately buckee is right mom will abandon them unless they were ready to leave the nest ..if they are very little they will not be cared for unless you do it!!!!! or call a rescue shelter if there is one near you!!!!!
