Just saw it over the weekend. What did those who've seen it think? IMO, it wasn't much of a Bond movie. There wasn't much Q gadgetry and this guy lacked the 00 cinfidence. It was a decent movie but not really Bond-like.

Tom has a new bestest buddy (who owns 300+ acres in prime central Ohio deer land) who bought a Savage smokeless last year and wanted to get rid of his Encore. The Encore had less than 10 rounds through it and he wanted $450 for it. Tom brought it over the other day, we cleaned it up and noticed that the barrel was pretty dirty so after cleaning it up, we noticed that there may have been some little pits in the barrel, but we really couldn't be sure. Anyway, based on that I told Tom I'd PM the all-knowing God of firearms a.k.a. AJ and see what he thought. AJ reassured me that small pitting, especially where the charge sits is not that big of a deal, so I PM'd Tom and let him know that I'd offer $400 for the gun and Jeremy accepted! Pretty cool. For some reason, I'm already in the market for a .270 or .22-250 or 308 barrel. Gonna have to scope it, sight it, got spring break coming up and an open field out back..... oh the possibilities now, lol.
