Re: horse riding lessons her grandparents have 2 horses that she helps take care of when we go out there. she says she wants 14 when we move out into the country. I told her we would start with one and go from there.

Re: quiet turkies???????? our season opened on monday and the first place we went we heard maybe one gobble in about 1.5 hrs. we then moved to another spot about 10 miles away and they were gobbling their heads off.

We just signed our 4 year old daughter up for riding lessons. Anyone else have any experiences with this for kids. She is totally infatuated with horses so I know she will like it. This is her on vacation last summer in colorado [image][/image]

I don't know how to load pics here. could someone pm me their email and I will send them to you to post for me. we need to get our turkeys on the board. by the way he was lbs with a 11 in. beard and 1 in spurs. Very exciting hunt

Re: Question for AJ and others.... i have a benelli nova with the carlson ported tube right now. it threw a pretty decent pattern out to 40 with 3 and 3.5 in winchester # 6s. i will probably get a comp n choke for next year when i have more time to play with the gun.

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #13 well my season is almost open. so far my buddy has found us four different longbeards on his hunting land. hopefully they will cooperate on moday. You guys need to get your birds turned it so we have a score!!!!!!! hopefully i will be back on monday afternoon with my own to add

Re: T-bone and 1 pin suggestions... i only like to have one pin set at 25 yards. all of my shots have been less that 30 so i dont have to worry about it. I know where to hold for a 40 yard shot if needed.

Re: Can I get a Missouri Report i hunt just north of kc and the birds seem pretty bunched up still with teh hens and other toms. they are strutting pretty good in the mornings. i haven't had a chance to check mid morning yet. should be a good year. i hope

Re: Info / Opinions on Extreme Sights i have the snyper something. i really like it. i use only one pin the green one .29. it holds light until i can't see anymore so the brightness is ok with me. I have not had anyproblems with it yet. i think they are very good sights and I do recommend them

Re: Where do they get this stuff?!?! when i first got married my lovely bride went to the dollar store and bought TP. After using that stuff one time, i threw it out and told her to never do that again. She has never bought the rough stuff again.
