  4. Re: Best bow blind for the money? I vote Double Bull as well. I hunted out of one for the first time in Wyoming in 2002 and I bought one in 2004 for my trip to Montana. I have never used it for turkey but my neighbors love to borrow it and have killed birds as close as 4 yds to it with a bow.

  8. Re: Need opinions on two way radios! You might want to check your game laws before using them during hunting. Some places it is unlawful.
  9. Re: How far will you shoot at a deer? I don't shoot much past 30 yards here at home. However a 50 yard shot at a big bull elk in open country isn't that much of a risk as far as I'm concerned. I practice a lot at 70 yards. I would never shoot 70 yards but when you pratice at that distance 30 yards is like shooting 10 yards. At least it is for me.
  10. Re: Deer / Car Collisions I don't know that there is a solution to this problem. I know that deer/car accidents I handle are usually in the same spots year after year. I think the real problem is that we (humans) keep encroaching into their habitat.

  18. Re: tree stands? I used to love portable stands but after using climbers for the past 5 years I am hooked. Not only can I take my stand out of the woods everyday because there are people with sticky fingers where I hunt but it also allows me to keep a good spot a secret.

  25. Re: How many Deer have you shot ?? I have been bowhunting since I was 17 and I'm now 37.....Wow I just realized it has been 20 years. I have shot around 25 whitetails, 1 elk, 1 mule deer, 1 antelope, 1 black bear all with a bow. I have only taken 3 whitetail with a gun before I started bowhunting. 6 of my whitetails were large enough to be in pope and young, and the elk made pope and young
