Good Luck RC. Getting my gear packed up for my trip to Illinois!! Leaving on the 18th and hope to have a Booner on the ground by the eve of the 20th!!!
Watched a nice 6pt have a doe pinned down for over 2 hours today across the road from my house. He layed about 15 yards behind her watching her every twitch!
Been there done that...worst part was the injection into the tube. The cramp was a bit trying but after the numbing took over it was all good. Like was said prior...get the jock straps as you will need them and use the ice.
What a game...those Stanford boys played their hearts out and pulled off a major upset! First home game loss for the Trojans since 2001....and it was Stanford then too!!
Good news and bad!
I wanted to wait until I was sure and of course I was. I shot a buck( half rack 8 pt.) sat evening and when we got it home I grabbed a camera that was having issues that I was unaware of. I normally use my digital but this time I grabbed the 35. My son shot 2 pics and I went to cleaning. Well after sitting down for the night I find out this info from my wife! Sure enough when we get them developed, they did not come out. That camera is now in a landfill somewhere! So I thought we had at least nine on the board and now zip. Hopefully I can connect in Illinois and make it up. Sorry team...I didn't even want to tell you.
Just packed the last of my Scent elim clothing, took my final shots with my Slick Trick heads and changed the blades, loaded my quiver and made my list of things to load into my fanny pack this evening. Can't wait til tomorrow.
