Re: Memory to Jody Alan Crum All I can say is WOW!! Very powerful. I lost my Mom in Jan 06 and she was one of the first I would call when I got a deer or turkey and she would always be so happy and excited for me. This is my 1st year of 31 of hunting that I can't make that phone call. Last monday I was out bow hunting and while my mind was wandering I started thinking of my Mom and Gram and less than an hour later I took a 6pt buck. Maybe my Mom "called" me first this time.

Re: 7 mm-08 backup Just bought my 11 year old son one..early x-mas gift plus for him passing his hunter safety course. I been shooting it and I love it. May have to retire my old 7MM mag I've been toting for 33 years. His is a Rem Model 7 youth.

Re: Rub Lines? There are a good many rublines in the area I hunt already...shot a 6 pt off a rubline Monday evening on only the 2nd day of the season.

Re: Team 8 Scored on a small 6 pt with a crippled leg. Decided to take it after it gimped by me last night at 5:45 pm. Have to get my tag back then I'll post pics..not one of my bigger bucks but with the leg and reduced hunting I'll face this year I tagged out.

Re: Team 8 It is almost game time folks!!!! My season starts tomorrow and I am pumped. I hope the first thing I see after daylight isn't another guy blundering around like last year. Sort of takes the wind out of your sails for sure.

Re: Team 8 My name is Jeff and I am 43 yoa. I am married with one 11 yo son. I hunt primarily in the Poconos of eastern PA as well as south central PA with my father. I have taken deer in CA, Illinois, PA and hopefully in Ohio this year. I hunt deer with bow, muzzleloader and rifle. I work for the Dept of Justice.
