I shot the Monster a couple of days ago and was impressed with the speed and the no hand shock.....60 pounds and 311fps....I was impressed. I still can not let go of my Switchbacks but the Monster is no BS Not the draw cycle of the standard Mathews (loads up quick and lets off quick) but if you want speed, you will sacrifice smoothness....but not as much as I thought .. I think that is a wifes tell....I hunt in Louisiana and if you put a hole through the deer it will bleed just the same no matter what the temp is (normally in the 90's on 1 Oct). I have killed 8 deer with SlickTrick Mags and Standards and all them had a great blood trail....even the 133" P&Y that I hit in the ham. I have not hit everything that I have shot at (my fault) but every deer that I have hit with a Slicktrick has been recovered. If you would like a blood trail from a opening day kill in 93 degree weather.....pm me your e-mail. SlickTricks are for real. Elwood

Unless you have had it officially scored, paided the fees, and put in the books you can not call it nothing but a great deer. The deductions are just part of the game. Even the world record had to go through the process. Nice deer Dude Elwood

Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows High Country and Newberry bows have combined under High Country's name. The best of both worlds were combined and then they added a few things also. The new cable roller guard and Bianary cams. Carbon risers are also on the way. I am a Mathews fan but this bow really looks good. HCA may be back in the running.

Re: How good is the Switchback compared to a Legacy? I have had both and the difference as said before is night and day but mainly on the draw cycle. I had one set up with the same equipment as my Switchback and could not tell much if any difference between them when shot. Now let's talk draw cycle, an incredible difference. The SwitchBack is much more smooth and easier on your shoulder. Shoot them side by side and you will see the difference. I now own two SwitchBacks.

Re: Mosquito with a Cannon? I plan on seeing how dead I can make a whitetail with my Ruger #1 45-70 Gov. Why? Because I can, it will be fun, and my freezer is not full yet. My 300 Win Mag has done a great job also. The 7mm-08 is the primary for Whitetails. Got a big gun then show it off and use it.

Re: Yes it does affect you. MUGGS "Right then are there respect went right out the window. Stand up for your convictions and I'll back you up. Use your convictions to view yourself superior to others and I'll run you down...everyday of the week." Are people not standing up for their convictions and beliefs on this thread? You are not supporting them, you are standing up for your cowardly stance on nothing, accept convicting people for standing up for their morals. You will not stand against anything that does not affect you and fail to see just how much the wrongs in society are affecting you. This is finacially and morally depreciating you as a person. People have tried to open your eyes and clue you in but you remain close minded to things that do not affect you at this moment. Wonder how much you mind will change when you get slapped in the face by the life styles that you are turning a blind eye too. Respect for you is almost out the window.

Re: Passed my PT test I would take it if they would give it to me. LOL The bad part of the story is that I have go push 22 year old troops around the track to make sure that they pass. Had one that could not run it in under 17 minutes and failed. Pissed me off. I run his butt off for three weeks and he made it in under 13 minutes the next time he tested.

Re: Passed my PT test I finished mine last month. 11:23 on the run and maxed my sit up and push ups out. Scored 87 Not bad for a 41 year old SMSgt
