Re: Cajun red fishing line???????? I have tried it but always go back to Big Game 20 pound test. It is not very expensive (2600 yards cost less than $30.00) but is still very tough. I refill 8 reels (Calcutta 250's) atleast twice a month or more(before each tournament). I do not use spinning reels so I do not have to worry about the memory or twist in the line. I used to stick with P-line, good tough stuff but I got tired of their price. Elwood

None of us can even begin to determine what this guy was thinking but the majority believe that he did us a favor and possibly saved another child from having their life ruined. I guess that some people here feel that they can determine what a criminal mind is thinking no matter how different that is from their past actions. Maybe they should spend more time trying to save victims rather than defend criminals. Elwood

I caught this one on Caddo Lake LA on a Lake Fork Craw tube. Tried to enter it in the contest but did not get pics of the weight or length. Elwood

We won state bragging rights and $2500.00 last week. LA Top Six was held on Toledo Bend located on the border of LA and Texas. We had a great time and caught a lot fish heavy fish. Our first day total was 12 fish limit that weighed 39.72 pounds. Day 2 was tougher and not near as many fish was caught but we had the right bites and weighed in 35.52 pounds for a total of 75.24 pounds. It was the first time our club has won Top Six in it's over 30 year history. If you get the Men's Channel, we are supposed air on Tues. or Thurs. this week or next week on Cajun Phil's Outdoors. Re: Ruger No. 1 Do I have to have the Hick's installed by a gun smith or is it an easy install that I can do myself. Also what is the cost? The gun it's self is awesome and a blast to shoot. I have shot several different loads so far and would like to get a hold of some heavy loads just for fun. I plan on useing the gun for early deer gun season out of my bow stands. Later in the season I'll pull out my 7mm-08 or 300 WinMag for the longer shots on pipelines. Thanks for the replies Elwood

Picked up a No. 1 in a 45-70 Gov last summer and I think that I am having accuracy problems. I sent the scope (Ultra Dot - Micro Dot 1.5-4 X 20) back to the factory and just got it back. Have not shot it yet because I am thinking about having the barrrel floated before I shoot it again. I have heard of a cheap fix that involves placing a rubber O-ring on the screw between the forearm and barrel. Any one had any experience with this? Elwood

On a serious note, why do you insist on defending trash, molestors and and homosexuals. They are the ones that do not give a rats--- about you unless you had something they could take.
