Re: Read on stand? Swamphunter, I take along a small portable electronic golf game to make the time pass. The sound is off and I can still pick up sounds if deer approach me. I beleive that reading or doing other things on stand helps pass the time and keeps you from getting figgetty. BTW: I own an Outhouse blind too, love it, I use it sometimes when gun hunting, had deer and turkeys come with 10 to 15 feet from it. Their nice to have and simple to set up on hot spots that don't allow for treestand placement. Great invention for sure. Lou

Re: Moron Post**Resurrected I'm thinking if you watch enough Realtree you could remember what the trees look like and the layout of the land. You could freeze frame pictures on TV of a hunt Bill's on, maybe on his land you think he has in Alabama, then take a picture of it with a camera and then get an airplane and scout the entire state of Alabama trying to match up your picture to Bill's land. Naw, only a moron would do something like that!!! LOL

Re: new truck!!!!! Nice truck, I'd picked the Chevy over the Dodge. The Hemi has some awesome power but so does the Chevy. The Chevy will pass the gas stations more often too, LOL!! Good luck in whatever you pick, with all the choices you can't go wrong. Enjoy your new truck. Lou

Re: Disappointed.... Move to Michigan. We get about the same weather and we have a guaranteed hunt in May. Turkey hunting is starting to become popular so who knows, in years to come I may not be able to hunt them regularly, may become luck of the draw. Sorry about you not getting a permit. Lou

Re: Binocular/Digital Camera combo I got the Bushnell model and got it for $49.00 dollars. Its a 10X25 binocular and the camera is rated at 8X. Never took any pictures yet with it but plan to soon and will post them. I like the binoculars though and should come in handy this turkey season. Lou
