Re: Saturday Hunt Its definately going to be better ,,, muzzle loader opens this thursday, there calling for rain thursday and saturday ,,, so looks like i'll be taking off from work on friday ..... should have called out sick today ,, temp is in the upper 30's this morning ,,,

Well i went out saturday and there was a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms,,,, well the first storm hit and i was on the edge of it, clear skies in front of me with dark clouds behind and a little drizzle and thunder,,, the 2nd storm came up and let me tell you, i never ran out of the woods till then, it hailed and the lightning was really bad,,, needless to say i didnt see anything except a tree rat and a chipmunk which ran across my leg..... no i didnt share my peanuts !

While cutting a bolt off from a motor used on a heat pump it snapped off and nailed me smack in the eye,,,, Hunt is off for this afternoon ,,maybe tomorrow ,,,,

Re: Rainy Day Bowhunting I dont hunt bow if it's raining, just beacause of loosing the blood trail...... Now if its just misty i'll go out ,,,, Just have to get a good clean shot at the heart so you're not tracking to long .....

Re: Have a problem and need help quick Hey, Have someone watch you shoot, Like inbowhunter said... You might be dropping your arm and not even know it... I went through the same thing, dropping my arm just a hair will throw you off big time. I had my bud watch me shoot and i was dropping my arm......... Remain perfectly still not even moving your arm that you use to release, once the arrow hits the target, move all you want......
