been to SC for 2, 4 day hunts , passed a doe with spotted fawns and thats about it...the first trip we weren't allowed to take does and I saw em everywhere, this time, just the one, lol....had a bobcat pee in my corn...that is one lucky cat. I have my first FL. hunt Oct. 1 and I have a monster picked , just need prayers to seal the deal...he walked directly under my stand on several occassions....so I am pumped...then I'm going back to SC for 7-10 days in late Oct. for the rut, woohoooo, good luck y'all........

there's plenty for the fawns to eat, especially there where this is, we have several food plots and the fields were just tilled for the most part because of the danged hog rooting, I had to go over it with the tiller because of the cows, talk about mad, I spent 6 days out there tilling pasture up, anyway ...I think there's alot of new growth...my concern would be with hunting season just around the corner, mom getting shot and then the baby getting taken by a coyote or being too small to fend for itself....but whatever happens , happens, it God's chioce...

south florida they breed all year...I'm about mid state. I've talked to folks (ole6beards) that have seen fawns every month of the year here in Florida...the one thing I have learned about Florida's deer is they have a schedule all their own, lol.

Is she pregnant ? looks like it to me.....somewhat odd to see this time of year but she looks healthy, yes she's an older doe,and I know the bellies droop with age but I really think you'd see more of a sag in her back area..so what do y'all think ? It's kinda cool if she was pregnant, but then again , there's a chance she could be taken during the hunt and the lil oneleft to fend for itself doe on the left side 3rd one from the left just thought this one was a cool pic so i had to add it, lol

Our population isn't the greatest but with all of the clear cuts and burning we've done , the #'s are going up. I've even offered to buy some and donate them to the WMA, but we can't do that until there's more habitat for em...I usually at least hear on everyday..I still can't wait for the day when I see multiple coveys...

here's Bear protecting his mommy....I think I've done a good job with him...he'll kill anything i tell him too...I'm glad my problem is over, but sometimes I wish I was having the problems I was having with certain someones sneaking into my yard, lol....something about you running from him just gets to him, lol....all you'll hear is huff huff and then you're going down, lol.....this is my baby, he's about 1.5 yrs. old now. don't know who that man is, lol.....
