My brother put a case together for me about a year ago. It was kind of a surprise, because I never asked him to do so. The old parts he was just going to throw away, I kept them. Went home got the Dremel tool out and modified a Gateway tower to fit the mother board. Installed all the parts plus added some things, the PC works like a charm! I gave it to my mother to use, so now she has a faster PC than her old one. After Tearing apart my brother-in-laws laptop down to the smallest screw, fixing his power plug-in and soldering things back with new parts, and putting it all back together. This works as well. Now I am building another new PC for myself. One of the reasons I am not around as much, I got involved in gaming. Not sure about the SSD yet, I might just wait till the price of them come down. But everything I heard and read about them, they are SUPER FAST!!! I believe this set up will have all the power I need for a few years. Cooler Master HAF 932 case with the new USB 3.0 Cooler Master 1200w 80+gold power supply ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme mother board 1100T AMD Black Edition processor Radeon HD 6950 2 gig video card Corsair H70 water cooler 16 gigs of RAM 120 gig SSD main hard drive 2 DVD drives 2-1 terabyte hard drives(slaves)

If you plan to do a lot of walking to and from your fishing spots, also while fishing. Stocking foot waders with separate boots, will be your best choice for comfort. If your fishing trips have not much walking, boot foot waders will work. I have both, by far the stocking foot waders are the best. Also, the use of Goretex or any other breathable type wader will also keep you more comfortable. One more thing. Neoprene type waders are awesome in the colder waters of November - March. But I would seriously never wear them in the warmer months! You will sweat like crazy! Be sure to check your local laws if you plan to use felt bottom soles. Some states already have them banned, because of DIDYMO. Personally, I think its wrong banning just felt, this stuff can collect on anything. Laces, buckles, eyelets, and even inside boots due to the holes used for draining of water. Here is some reading on DIDYMO. http://www.fish.state.pa.us/water/habitat/ans/didymo/faq_didymo.htm http://www.dec.ny.gov/animals/54244.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didymosphenia_geminata http://www.epa.gov/region8/water/didymosphenia/

Yes Ted, I know blinds work. I was referring to the placement of the decoys.

Nobody else gonna show some ties?
-
You still have ice up there? LOL!!! Just kidding! Nice fish!!!

Very cool! I need to learn how to tie them. I don't have any of them in my boxes.

Thats the last thing I would do, your drawing attention to the blind. The tom will be looking as to whats in front of them. Especially if the tom has been hunted before. If he detects any movement from within the blind, game over! Yes I would use a blind if you have one. Wear dark or black clothing. Great advice there!!!

Nice set up. Where about are you in Delaware? I have friends that live in Dagsboro. We go down there ever year on vacation in Fenwick Island.

The local news interviewed a few of them. Some mentioned that these kids need to be laid to rest without any interfere! They were there to make sure this will happen! One said he will do whatever he can to see this will happen. His name was "Fuzz", and mentioned that he knows a few of the state police personally! LOL! They arrested him a few times! I guess the wacko's had second thoughts about this trip! They never showed up!

These are the same idiots that were to come here in Perry county to protest the death of seven children that died in a fire just a few weeks ago. These idiots thrive off the attention they receive. But, there was a group of motorcyclist there that were heck bent on making sure they never got near them! This group was prepared to go to jail if necessary, and use force to keep them out. There were on the local news here.

Oh my! I have been busy! LOL!!! Finally got a little better organized. I got these 12 compartment boxes up at Bass Pro the other week. They hold way more than the other boxes I have, with less bulk! Just in the last 3-4 weeks I been trying to get caught up in some much needed tying for this year. Don't get me wrong! But its more than I had last year!!! I know some of you probably have 100 times more than this! But, to think how much money this would have cost to buy them at a fly shop. Even at $.50 a piece would have not covered the cost of materials! Not to mention I have tons more material to keep tying what I have here! It certainly pays off learning to tie your on flies!!! Midge Box Other Boxes.

You need to speed up your shutter speed Steve. Also bracket your shots up and down. The problem is your camera is metering the black background, this is causing the camera to choose a slower shutter speed. If your camera has a spot metering capabilities you could try this as well. Nice pics guys!!!

I might be up for that. In another forum I belong to, they do a fly swap a few times a year. Mostly for trout streams. I think its a cool way to learn about other patterns, and maybe something that you don't have might work great in your local streams. But I don't think there is enough fly tiers in here.

So far, all the flies I been tying are for trout. My latest is some dry flies. Sulphur emerger and dun. This is a good pattern to have anywhere, midges. Various colors, but my favorite is a red midge, silver bead, red thread, and silver wire. Size 22-18's Caddis, tan and green. Glass green caddis. I fish a lot of tandem rig flies, two flies at one time. I hate having to use lead shot to help flies get down. I made these up on my own mostly as a way to get down fast. But they still work to catch fish. Known as a San Juan worm, I called this one a Super San Juan worm. I used a tungsten scud weight to the hook then the chenille. They are pricey considering ten weights for about $5! But then the fly shop charges $2 per fly! So their 50 cents a piece. My version of a fly called not looks, lightning bug. only difference is the thorax. I used pheasant tail, not flashback or tinsel. New product just recently called the Uni-Bobber. I am more of a nymph fisherman, but the bass fisherman in me loves top water! I use this fly as a part of a dropper system. If it goes under, then something took the dropper fly! Light tan caddis. I use a Peak Rotatory vise. Peak sells a soft pack case for $30, this is a scoped handgun case, $10! Much better protection as well! I also tie up the following flies. Rainbow warrior, copper johns, pheasant tails, many different colors of midges, and several other kinds of trout flies I found on Youtube. ckrich, get into Youtube and type in the fly you want to start with. I am self taught, never had any cases. Learn the proportions and have fun!

Well, hopefully it will not be just the two of us posting. I thought it would be fun and a learning to see what people are using around the country.

Lets see some of the flies the flyfishers in here tie up!!! Bass, trout, or panfish, any fly that you make, not buy!!!

That movie was based on a true story. EVERY PARENT NEEDS TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! Mind you, this movie is rated PG13 and has some violent scenes. But it will make the point VERY CLEAR! I sat here and cried along with my daughter holding her so tight, and not wanting to let her go!!!
