Funny story.......our neighbor lady used to raise all kinds of wild animals, skunks, racoons, foxes, deer, you name it ....she tried it! One day, the baby skunk somehow crawled in her big purse...when she was checking out her groceries, it managed to crawl out and got on the counterline........when the checkout lady saw it, she screamed and then passed out!!

Not something to look forward to, but my mother- in -law had colon cancer in 2001, so it's really important to have it done now........cancer doesn't discriminate between men and women! Re: injured coon You did the right thing sooner fan........hopefully she'll survive and the zoo can keep her around. We had a pet one years ago named Rascal .....just like the book. They are an interesting creature to say the least. Everybody should have one for a pet once in their lifetime!!

Re: Heard about this on the radio this morning... Shaun..the Ashland Wal-Mart is really pushing the "Merry Christmas" theme this year.....heard the traditional church carols playing yesterday while Martin and I were there. We also noticed signs everywhere proclaiming "Merry Christmas' all around the store...it was nice to see.....the people have spoken and Wal Mart finally wised up and listened.
