  1. ok who bought all the blind's Update ; I was at my local Dicks today and they were sold out and have been for a week acording to the clerk. Hot little item, they were 50% off and with gun season just around the corner I guess I understand. He did not think they would be able to get any more.
  2. Thanks,Yeah pretty much everybody got at least one bird, we flushed 3 with another hunter, it was fun, good food too. we were hoping for 2 birds but our guide and dog had a hard time locating them because of the dry warm conditions and very little wind. He said if only it was a little damp so the bird scent would hang a little better.
  3. Great time with the local news there. My boys first Pheasant.
  4. Yeah I like that one too and I have a 12 yr. old that likes to go. If only they had one like that and on sale too. The one I got was just too cheap to pass up, but bigger is really better in this case. Heard they make a few other bigger ones too on my box it said's coming soon. Also the Sportsman guide has a similar one thats 2-man for $ 49 as well, but it does not come with the screen mesh of which I prefer.
  5. It comes with a split mesh and 5 windows counting the small window in the big front window, so you have the blind material and mesh screens to use as well, and they can't see in. Yes its just like the one mention above but with some new cool camo and abit cheaper. I really like mine, it has a nice small profile to it so its easy to hide
  6. Couple of more pics....... Couple of more......>>>
  7. I just picked up one of these at Dicks sporting goods for only $ 49 and I really like it great for tree rat hunting, its a bit too tight for bows but if you have a real short draw it may work, its more for gun hunting. I really dig the new camo and would love to find it on some clothes.
  8. Thanks again guys, believe it or not we really don't do nearly as much for Christmas, just a few lights here and there outside, we kinda made our mark for Oct. happenings in our hood so we will just keep the hold on that one for now, yeah we do have some serious fun around here with it. Here's last years Halloween night pics.http://community.webtv.net/boswell7/doc0
  9. Thanks you all yeah we get into it around here with partys and movie nights.
  10. Ready for our Oct. party now see pics here.http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee13/Bozz-7/?action=view&current=e0e4395c.pbr
  11. Hope this cuts down on the bills some......lol.Check out my slideshow here.
  12. Thank you very much for the compliments, I think you'll find this amusing but our community here is only 3 years and these series of homes are called; " The American Dream series " Not many decorators here but lots of little TOT's for halloween night.
  13. Thanks got a ways to go to get to last years look here.http://community.webtv.net/boswell7/doc0
  14. Ok so yeah we like scarecrows around here and its that time again and we do have some big Oct. events around here so now's the time.http://community.webtv.net/boswell7/Bozzsnewandimproved
  15. I know your pain,....lol...... its hard to find birds now here too on private land. My Tent blind chair below sure came in handy on those hot days in the sunflower fields, it provided some much needed shade.
  16. Yeah I hear ya, hopefully a cool front will push some through later on and we'll get back out and catch more action, got to find that place first. How old is your boy ?
  17. We ended up going to Spring Valley and were the # 2 lotto number called......there were 160 people there and only half got drawn we felt lucky, the next day we lotto again with fewer people but there were fewer birds too. I have seen better years out there where you could limit out the first 3 days because of all the birds, it wasn't bad just not as good as last year which was crazy and much cooler and they flew all day.........this year they did not fly till 4 or later.
  18. We did good with our Charles Daly guns I'm a proud dad, my 12 year old got his limit with his new C.D. shotgun, we lost a few birds in the woods, hes hooked now !!!!!
  19. Didn't draw..... Didn't draw at Rush Run yesterday......as the video above mention....they had a record 252 people there and drew 104. Oh well hopefully me an my boy will find another spot, looks like Paint Creek or Spring Valley Sat.Kinda of a bummer I have a 12 yr. old with a new gun who just to took hunter safety course and score a perfect 100 and feel some pressure to get him a quality hunt. We went last year and he had a good time with his old .410 (cruel I know) but now has a youth 20 ga. Oh the pressure is on....lol.
  20. I love Junk I like that word junk, I own a lot of junk,my house we built 3 years ago is the cheapest in the neighborhood, its junk and does just fine everything works and its new all for $ 167,000,my cars are cheap (no humvee) they are junk too but get me to and from with a.c. and they look nice,my bows are junk as well, only $300 but boy I shoot alot of fish and deer with them, as a matter of fact I shot a new state record 45 lb. fish with my cheap junkie $ 250 bow. Did I mention I love junk, need I say more....so if anybody know where I can find more junk for $300 that slays dove and clays like my current junk...I'm all in !!!!! LOL :^) One mans junk is another mans treasure !!!
  21. I really like my Daly's I have 2 C.D.'s , one 20 ga. auto I've owned for 4 years that has performed perfect with many clays and doves crumbled . I just got a 20 ga. youth pump from Wallys for my 12 yr. old for only $ 159 last Dec. that has performed just as well on the ranges so far. Bang for the buck the are awesome IMHO and have very little if any competition in the $ 300 brand new price range. Now I did see Bass Pro has a new Remington 12 ga. auto (sp) for only $ 349 that may be a better gun for the money, but really I could not ask for more from my auto for only $300 new 4 years later.......hopefully we will see more guns near the 300 mark in auto's for guys's like me that have to move my $$$ around for other hobbies too.
  22. I walk about 300 yards out back to my stand, it sure makes you lazy, now there are some new houses back there,so I need to knock on a few doors to away from them.....bummer, only had about 10 acres to begin with, but it was a bottle neck with planty of deer travel. Now I only drive to Dove hunt, its kinda of a bummer because I got this nice 4 x 4 Suv that I don't need to haul deer out, I just use my deer cart. I really miss those days of diving in to load deer up.....lol....and I do have an ATV for back up deer hauling.
  23. Thanks for the video, it sure got me going, as a matter of fact we are going to Rush Run this Sat. to try and Lotto there, we never been there before, we usually go to Spring Valley to Lotto. My Boys got a new shotgun and he's 12 now so we can't wait, its by far my favorite hunting. I got one of those new tent blind chairs for Doving that should give me some shade in those hot sunflower fields. Hey Tominator where do you go come Sept.1 ?
  24. My 2 cents here......bottom line is you got to have more than good vocals to win........its call the x-factor......Taylor is doing fine selling out all his concerts and getting good reviews.......he was by far the best last year......looks,voice and moves.......the whole package.......Blake has it.......many talents........Jordan could have it......she is a little stiff and needs to move more.......Melinda did not have it.....nor Chris D. form last year,......even tho Lots of people like R&R ......he did not have any stage presence or very little at all.......I don't like screamers......but many do as his sales have proven.......so to win America over......and looks helps too........you need to do more than just sing......we vote them in !!!!!!
