Thanks Shaun! I'm blown away with DSLR, it's some sharp stuff!

And I am one HAPPY CAMPER!! Some time back I asked around about cameras, well.... I bought the Canon Rebel T3! It sounded like a great camera for someone wanting to break into the photography world and it sure is. I've had it maybe a month now so I'm still figuring out the settings and such, but it's amazing! I'm still outfitting it with extras, - like, I can't decide if I want a Tripod or a Monopod, what filters, if body armor is a good thing, etc. There's so much to learn! Oh, and lenses! Here's a few of my favorite pics so far. The detail this thing packs is phenomenal!

Now that's cool looking without being girly looking!

It's a cool experience! Like Chris said, they stay on roost longer. One other thing I noticed was they don't go way out in the fields. They tend to stay close to the wooded edge or sometimes just inside the woods. Good Luck!

I'm so bummed right now.... I went down to the freezer to grab a package of deer smokies and there were none left!! Until I can get some made from the locals.... I need something to fill the void. Anyone have a Trail Bologna recipe to share? I'm open to suggestions on any other tasteful snack also!

Those past couple days of nice weather were too good to be true! Ohio just got hit with a snow and ice storm, it's slick out there!

I have 2 GM stores in my area. The one usually has competitively priced things and will have some really good clearance buys and nice helpful employees. Now the other one is crappy! Hard to believe that they can very like that.

I'm trying to stay away from Dell. I was always told that if something went wrong with it or you needed a part for it, you had to go to Dell. I'm seeing lots of good ratings on Acer's also! I'm trying to focus in on the ones that have 3 Gigs of Ram, someone keeps telling me if I do find one with 2Gigs that it's not hard to install more into the computer, but it would be one less hassle if I found one with 3.

Very Nice!!

I'm buying a Laptop here soon. Lots to choose from!! Any advice? HP/Compaq seems to be offering better deals price wise ($350-$450) which is in the range that I'm looking to spend. Anyone have any advice on what to look for in a Laptop and what to stay away from? I won't be doing anything fancy with it just - writing articles, working with graphics and pictures, getting online, little gaming maybe, that's about all. I'm also looking into getting an external harddrive for it, just more so as a back-up of everything.
