Gas prices have people looking other directions. Trying to move something that drinks gas is going to be difficult to say the least. Ok, i have a dilema. With the rising gas prices it is gettin hard to afford my truck. I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500hd extended cab, 4x4 with a 8.1 (496) in it. It has 34,500 miles on it. It is the LS edition, and i was wondering what everyone thinks i might be able to get out of it. i still owe 22k on the truck and want to get enough to pay it off. i am only getting about 11 mpg . I am just wanting to see what everyone else thinks.

Re: BARRY BONDS The only reason that Barry is getting a lot of attention now is becasuse Babe Ruth is a big name in baseball. I think everyone recognizes The Babe before Hank Aaron, not taking anything away from Hank Aaron. I think in order to be banned from the game you have to do something illegal. What Mark McGwire did was not illegal during his time. What has Barry Bonds done? I am not sure, i havent heard him admit to anything. We can speculate with all the things goin on around him, but in the United States it is innocent until PROVEN guilty. Do i like Barry? not really, i think his attitude towards the fans and the way he acts is pitiful, but i do respect him. He has tremoundous talent.

What size of driver do you use? I use a little one, i think its 175cc nike. i hit it really good but have one mis hit a round, i thought about goin to a bigger nike either a 410cc or a 460cc. Last round i hit 8 of 14 fairways and my drives were between 240 and 310, most coming in at about 250. the one mis hit i had went about 25 yards. . Just wondering what everyone hits.

Re: Bass fishing in rivers I have a river about a mile from my house and it has a bunch of smallmouth in it. If i use worms and a hook i catch carp, catfish and smallmouth and some walleye. I will usually use a floating Rapala. last year using a rapala i fished the the river for about 6 hrs. Floated the river for about 5 miles and caught 65 smallmouth and one pike.

You said when Duece IS healthy. who knows he might not be healthy. as for drew, i think he is gonna be fine. he is young and he has had a while to therapy and all the good stuff they get. Reggie Bush you can put almost anywhere. Line him up at RB, or WR. His speed and mobility and hands make him a threat no matter where he lines up. I would also put him as KR and PR. I will be looking for the saints to have 9-11 win season this year.

Re: UFC- Hughes vs Gracie I like to watch it. From what i remember i believe royce gracie is unbeaten. I remember watching him fight a guy from my home town dan severn. He is more of a submission fighter than puncher. I think he is in over his head though, he is old and i dont think he can keep up with matt hughes, but i will not buy it either.

Red Wings simply got out played and out husseled tonight. They really didnt look like they wanted it to me. So they deserved to lose and i look at it as Edmonton won the game and not detroit lost it. Congrats Edmonton. And all of that coming from a Wings fan
