Mature Greater Scaup have very similar plumage to the Canvasback. Big white back, with the head color varying. I believe we call them Bluebills up here in the interlake.

Oakleys are the way to go. I have a pair of half jackets that I've had for many years. Love the interchangable lenses. Also have some StraightJackets and another pair. We get a good deal through the Cdn Military. Not quite as good as the US deal though. ;-)

I have a chainsaw that needs a new carb kit, a 35HP Evinrude that needs to be re-gasketed and reassembled, and a Polaris Indy that needs the motor put back into it. My garage is full. Now that I have said what I need to do, my weekend will consist of changing dirty diapers and warming up bottles. HA HA. I think the kiddo is going to have to come into the garage in the stroller.

I hope everything goes well. Did you get chipmunk cheeks yet? My sister had that bad. I know I'm supposed to get this done eventually. what the heck is the dry socket thing?

Wow. That's a crazy reaction. Glad you guys made it to the hospital ok. I've had reaction to specific types of MSG. So that is a fun guessing game when eating treats or other ethnic foods. I try to stay away from it, cause hives and welts are not fun at all. Last time I had to get a couple needles in the hip to get me going again. Not fun at all....

Going to work one day, after a test in physics, head in the clouds, I walked straight into an open hatchback door of a minivan. Hit my forehead so hard on the door, that I bit down and snapped one of my front teeth out. Everytime I took a breath the air hit the tooth root and sent me flying. Had to go for dental work and for a couple years, I was getting that bugger fixed. A lot of money invested into one tooth, for something very stupid.

Seems I have picked more trigger locks off then I can remember. I should really get them keyed alike.

Well there should be enough fans on here to get a thread going about this! Did anyone watch this weekends games??? Both really great battles and everything leading up to an amazing Grey Cup! Too bad that the Bombers QB (Glenn) broke his arm in the last part of the eastern final. His backup certainly has some gigantic shoes to fill, especially because his first full game will be the championship game! Saskatchewan Roughriders VS. Winnipeg Blue Bombers First time ever this has happened as a matchup, and I can't wait to watch it. GO RIDERS GO!
