    Ant farms??

Re: Ant farms?? I used to have one a long time ago that had 3 different houses. You could put 3 different types of soil in it and then join everything together with these clear tubes. Very cool. You could see them going from one to another with stuff in their mouths and everything.
  2. Re: Chuck Norris facts....... These are always good for a laugh. Sent em through the office already.

  4. Re: Big Momma! [ QUOTE ] That there is 12 gauge territory. [/ QUOTE ] Yes SIR! I am with you there Lou. I normally can handle spiders, but when they start getting close to the 1lbs range, its time to get rid of them. Can you imagine that thing crawling across your foot in the garden while you pickin lettuce for dinner. SHEESH!

  7. Re: September? I haven't seen any birds come back this way yet. We are close to Hudson's bay and this is my first season in this area. I am pumped up about it. But haven't seen a single Northern bird yet.
  8. Re: soft mouth? Hard mouth is trainable. Knobby bumpers or even block of wood with small points(dull nails) just sticking out trained my dog to handle everything with care.

    Grrr!

I know these things are petty, and that there are real world problems. But when is MY luck going to change. Tires with 6000 miles on them decided to start chunking away, crack on the inside and develop small punctures. I've always kept them inflated properly and the tire store said they would not warranty them because of the roads I drive on(shale rock). I have BFG AT's 10Ply. Should be a tough arse tire, but NO! Boat got swamped this past weekend at the lake. Visiting a friend's cottage, had to stay the night in wet clothes(wasn't planning on staying or the storm). Very frusturating pulling a boat full of water up a ramp to dry off. Furniture ordered and to be delivered to my friend's house down south. He's moving north and we were going to throw it on his moving truck to avoid shipping charges. Lazboy told me that it would be delivered last night between 5 and 9pm(I hate the broad timeframe). Didn't show up, no phone call to him or I and made him sit at home all night last night. Not only was he doing me a favor, he's gotta do it yet again once I finally get ahold of the saleslady today. Not real problems, but just extremely frusturating.
  10. Re: Catching Crayfish? Use a minnow net. The square kind. This method will mess it up and it will only be good for crayfish after. lol. I used to walk backwards upstream with the minnow net infront of me low. Then just kick the stones and they'll swim right into the net. Works like a charm. If you are industrious your could make something stronger, but use the same method.

    Nightmares

Re: Nightmares Not so many any more. When I was in college and stressed out, I had a ton. I've had the wolves surrounding me one. Jumping and losing gravity, going way to high only to fall and wake up just before impact. I've been shot in the back a few times by really good friends. Wake up and I am out of breath and my back is actually burning. Dreams where I am totally blind and nothing can get me to open my eyes and see. Running, skating, trying to live blind.
  13. Re: Hey, What the.... Better do a scan for adware/spyware tominator! I hate that stuff. Luckily these work computers have a pretty good protection on them.

  19. Re: What do YOU think? Relaxes me...I love shooting. I don't get all crazed up and wanna fight or anything.
  20. Well after living up here for 8 months, I finally saw my first bear. Took an aerial tour of a nearby historical park. Managed to snap just one picture of this monster. I can't wait to see them on the ground. I think he was looking for Gator, but you never showed! Also saw Beluga Whales and Caribou, but they are harder to get a picture of from a plane.
  21. Re: New exhaust installed on my truck!!! Sweet! I wanna do that to my Dmax!
  22. Re: Arctic Circle???? I don't live too far from it Gator. I am just about 60miles south. Its pretty neat when the trees end. It like a line drawn in the global sand. BOOM, no trees, no plants over 2 ft tall ect. The tundra foliage is awesome. Colorful, but needs to thrive in such a short period. Hopefully you will see some Caribou.
  23. Re: Wow - Lake Peigneur(sp?) VID The guy's hat said "I survived lake Peigneur 1980". drilling on top of a salt mine eh? Hmmm, who put that salt mine under a lake????
