    Olympics

Re: Olympics Gotta love the winter games. Winter - One of the many things Canada is good at. lol. Go Team Canada for Hockey. Repeat the Golds!
  2. Re: Making a Goose Call? I dabbled in it for a few years actually. I had my mini lathe, mandrel for 5/8'' hole, and all the tools. I was using and finishing acrylic, ABS Piping material(easy plastic), and petrified oak(hard on the tools!). I've made a few and just used Knight and Hale guts in them. There's a bit of a procedure, but its pretty simple. Just the design you want is the most difficult thing. Wood is readily available from any specialty shop. Cocobolo was my favorite for my duck calls. I quickly found out that it was harder to design then actually do the work. I couldn't find a unique design. Still have all my stuff. Might get back into it one day. For now, its "on the back burner". One thing I was looking into was "fortifying wood". You can place a piece in a vaccuum chamber with acyrylic resin and impregnate the wood. Makes a bullet proof call, but keeps the beauty of the wood you are using. Variations with different color Resins make some pretty cool designs in porous wood. That custom call forums offers some great advice!
  3. Re: Canadian Guides Get Bad Rap Terrible Article. Should have never gotten published. Terrible Journalism to even group all the "CANADIAN" guides together. Write a review on a specific company, not all of Canada. Very not cool.
  4. I know I know. Everyone hates when someone does this. But does someone have that post of the crazy clown on the trail cam. Could you bump it up, so I could show some folks?

  7. Re: How did you meet your???? Jenn kinda moved into town under the Bradar(get it? Brady + Radar ). She was a couple years older then me. I was working for my Cousin in the grocery store and she got hired as a cashier. We started talking like co workers do and a bit of a crush started. I remember bagging the groceries as she scanned them and delt with the customer. Her and Her Figure Skating Bum. LOL She went to University, while I finished High School. I felt so cool telling all the other girls that I already had a Girlfriend and that she was in University. Through some rough times and some time apart, we are together 5 years now, more in love than ever and just got married on October 1st.
  8. Re: Recipe Help please! My recipe is similar to your hunt4bucks. Just add a touch of salt to your water for soaking and it will draw the blood out faster. Change your water about three times too. I use small meat chunks. I use olive oil, soya sauce, worchestshire, Extra Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning. Marinade for 2 to 3 days. Then BBQ. Excellent finger food! My Buddy's(Quackersmacker) recipe. Its awesome.
