  1. Interesting thread Ruth. I was concidering whether to switch or not. I may have to now.
  2. I bought some Rage 2-blades and they had a tendancy to open when they were not supposed to. So I sold them and I also got Epeks XC-3's for my mechanicals. Great broadheads. For fixed blades I shoot Slick Trick Mags.
  3. Welcome Avery! Its good to have you around!
  4. I have a 2007 Mathews Mission X3 for sale. It is right hand, 60-70 pounds, and a 29-1/2" draw. It is in super good to excellent condition. I am selling this bare bow but I will toss in the Quikee Quiver that is in the picture. This bow is super easy to draw and very fast. It will make a great first bow for someone as it was for me. I am asking $200 TYD or best offer. :'> Buck I killed last year with this bow.

Oh sure Tim, swing through my neighborhood and don't say hi. Oh well, that's ok, I was in your neighborhood yesterday. Montezuma sure looks awful dry.
  10. I have a couple We have clinched and closed with the naked North, we have learned to defy and defend; Shoulder to shoulder we have fought it out -- yet the Wild must win in the end. This is a quote by Robert Service, we all know him as Yukon Jack. It is one of my favorites. The original has "I" and I changed them to "we" for you and you friend. You could even fill the flask with some Yukon Jack to make it more special. Now to turn on the Way Back Machine :D click on the link and scroll down. Our own Mr. Buckee has some poetry that he wrote. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25076

  12. Its a bow with the signature of the man who designed it. I think iiiiits a little more valuable now. Are you a Mathews hater? You sound like one.
  13. As long as my parents are alive. $0 My kids are their ONLY grandkids and I'm not about to take them away. After their death (God forbid) .02 to leave New York.
  14. On a VERY hot day in July I said, "I do" to the love of my life. Seems like yesterday, how time flies. I know 15 years isn't much of a milestone but all 3 of my groomsmen in that time have gotten a divorce.
  15. I went to Walmart and I see the shelves are filled with Realtree archery products. My question is this, who made the broadheads and the lighted nocks for you?
  16. I need a new pocket scale to measure powder. I went up to Harbor Freight and bought a scale yesterday but the grains unit will only measure in 10ths. As you know, there has to be a decimal point there. Can you recommend an affordable digital pocket scale?
  17. John, did you see the envelopes to the left of the thread title? When the envelope is gray and closed, you've read it. Hope that helps some.
  18. I got a small flier in a local outdoor newspaper. Other than that, nothing. Funny, its a month earlier than last year. Would be nice to get a flier so I know when the best deals are.
  19. I hope our resident Pro Staffer has a great day! :happybday:
  20. Sounds like us last summer. Our corn never got over 3 feet tall because it was so wet. This year our garden is booming. Good luck, I hope everything dries up for you.
  21. I think I lost 10,000 off my post count.
  22. Same here. Everytime I click on something I have to scroll down and to the right.
