  1. I was taking a used Drenlin for a test drive last year. That bow kept slapping my arm. Found out later that its draw was a 1/2" longer than mine. It was just enough to straighten out my arm.
  2. Happy Birthday John!! :toot:
  3. Great looking lawn! You could host a football game out there. Some apple trees out front would really be neat and really bring the deer around.
  4. That was all me. If you go back and look at the thread for the buck on the label I asked you if that was the first buck on your new ranch. The title of the thread and answer you gave helped inspire that quote. Being a small landowner myself I know how much more gratifying it is to kill any deer on your own little ponderosa.
  5. Whew! I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to show up. Then after the cold snap we had I was worried if the label would fall off if the bottle warmed up too fast and sweat a little. I'm glad it showed up in one piece. Don't get the label wet, it will bleed. I'm glad you like it. It was more than just the sauce btw. You really helped my out with my sweet corn a while back if you remember. The sauce just gave me a good reason to send you a little house warming present and say thanks for everything. The wine I sent is not completely dry and will be a little sweet. In my best Italian, "Enjoya youa vino rosa!" :wine:
  6. Wow! :jaw: That is awesome!

Great pic Chris! Hope you had a great time! :walkman:
  10. Thank you. Happy Easter Tim.
  11. I've fished that creek once. Good fishing. I wish we had the decent steelhead fishing that you guys in W. NY get. The Salmon River ok but that is about it.
  12. I would start with Dawn diswashing soap and scup the spit out of him. It is a great degreaser. Just don't get it in his eyes.

    AHHHH a day off

I won't be able to tell you for some time because it all depends on my parents and their schedule. I can only hope that our weekends match up. Let me know when you have a weekend picks and I'll float it by them. What was the name of the motel you guys were in?

    AHHHH a day off

Glad you had a good one Joe! I am off today but I am packing for a trip to my parents. You and Lisa have a great Easter.
  15. You got my vote. Good luck.
  16. Those of you here that know me, know that I am bowhunting newbie. So I have this problem. In 2007 I bought a Mission X3 for my first bow. Now after shooting it for 3 years was concidering an upgrade. After seeing the new Mission Voyager I really liked what I saw. It has many of the characteristics of a Switchback XT and some that are better. So I go to the Mission web page and do a retailer search. I then proceed to contact every dealer within 200 miles. Not one of them have the bow in stock. I got these responses, "We can order you one but I won't stock it" or "We don't stock it because for a few dollars more you can have a Mathews" or "I don't stock it but for $70 you can get a Mathews DR2" (yeah, like I want a stripped down Drenlin ). It just baffles me why a company would make a bow that no dealer will offer. I sent an email to Mission but I have not heard back from them. I really don't want to order a bow that I have never held or shot. So here is my question, or should I say questions. How many of you have ever ordered a bow that you have never seen? Would you order a bow that you have never seen? What do you suggest that do? I would really like to try the Voyager. The Switchback was an all time great bow and if I can get one that is similar with the warantee that would be the cats pj's. (Please give helpful advise. Don't tell me to go buy a Hoyt or something else)
  17. Another thing you may want search AT is Bowtech customer service. That was enough for me to make up my mind.
  18. When I first bought my pop-up blind, I set it up, zipped up the windows and left it for a month for the deer to get used to it. When we sat in it for the first time, every deer noticed that black hole and the window flaps were down. The next year I set it up and left just the front down 24/7. I even put a few apples right in front of the blind so they would notice. Once deer season came around, not one deer noticed me in the blind. Another thing I have heard people do is leave a dummy in the blind so that the deer get used to seeing something in the blind. When you arrive to hunt, the deer think they are looking at the dummy.
  19. That was great Mike. Maybe one I will come down and check it out.
