I have to admit that after seeing Buckees pics, BC looks awful tempting. But my dream home would be large chunk of land on Trillium Mt. in hometown.

I hate to be a downer but to do that in NY is illegal. I checked your DNRE web page and it says in the furbearer section that it is illegal to, "Shoot a muskrat, beaver, otter, mink, fisher, or marten except under DNR permit." Plus the muskrat season has been closed for well over a month. Nice shootin, but you may want to erase this thread.

A number of years ago, here in NY they did a study on road killed does to see how far along they were and when they were inceminated. They found does that were bred as early as mid september and as late as February. With the (normally) mild winters you PA. folk have I could see more late breeding going on. Plus being that young, she just might come into her first heat about now. Very cool picture Don.

Well, sort of... I want to get some black facemasks and clothing for the inside of my ground blind. Unfortunately many of the big name stores sell only camo masks. Where is a good place to get a thin 3/4 cut facemask?

I've never been there or heard of it. Do you have any details?

I noticed the same thing after I worked behind a tree chipper for 2 summers. Now I have a 30% hearing loss. Go get tested and protect what little you have left!
