The gentleman who owns the land I have been deer hunting on since I was 16 has passed away. At age 92, Frank didn't feel well after dinner. He laid down on the couch for a nap and never woke up. He passed away at his son's house in Vermont. Frank was a tree farmer and a looooong time conservationist. Now I would like to send something to the family other than the ordinary condolences card or flowers. What could I send the family that would be different?

I killed my first turkey with some cheap $9 Eastman broadheads that I got from Walmart. They flew like field tips so I used them. I doesn't matter what broadhead you choose as long as they work well for you. Get yourself practiced to shoot quarters at 20 yards and you will do fine. I will be using Epek XC-3's this spring.

Go to a Gander Mountain or a pro shop and get measured. I'm 6-2" and my draw is 29-1/2" . A 32" inch draw seems awful long to me. Good luck with your search. Try out as many bows as you can find.
