I knew I seen this someplace. Kind of bored after watching another Bills loss so I did a little leg work for you. Look at the bottom of the page under you might also need. If your scope is an Omega go here: http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=001258401 If its a prostaff: http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=001256320 If its a Buckmaster: http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=001256421

I'm assuming your looking for the flip open covers. The best advice I can give you is to measure the outside diameter of both your eye piece and your objective lens. Then use the chart below from Butler Creek. Good Luck http://www.butlercreek.com/productsImages/charts/flip_scope_chart.html

Congrats to Kyle Busch and the 18 crew.

Like him or not (I don't) but I will admit he can race a car. The sad part he's doing it in a Toyota. -
Busch won in a Toyota. Glad I fell a sleep and missed the ending.
-
And I like it!!!
-
I'd rather see Tony Stewart not make a lap around Daytona driving his, or should I say the Gibbs Racing Toyota.
-
Isn't that a beautiful thing.

At least JJ/JG have a respectable nameplate on their Piece of Crap of Tommorow. A much as I can't stomach Kurt Busch or Montoya I'll pull for either of them before a Toyota. Better yet let the fued betweeen Stewart and Busch continue, maybe thay can't take each other out early and drag a couple more Toyotas with them.
-
It will probably never end either.
-
I know that. I'm just not an advocate of advertising a foriegn nameplate in NASCAR racing. Seems that Toyota has a pretty big advertising budget. What really pisses me off. Here in Western NY. the two biggest employers are GM and Ford. Then you hear the ads for Toyota being the official cars of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. After hearing this for the past few years you'll never see my GMC or Pontiacs in the parking lot of either of these teams. Anything but a Toyota in victory lane is fine with me. Sorry for the rant just venting. As far as the Sabres logo for my avatar I'm still a fan but not a participating fan. Still free on TV.

If he was still driving a Chevy I'd be saying the same. But he's not so. I jumped on the Stewart bandwagon his second year in Nascar. He's a darn good driver too bad he's doing it in a Toyota.
-
That sucks, but I figure a Gibbs car was going to be the first Toyota do it. What real scary is Michael Waltrip is sitting on the outside pole next to Johnson for the 500. He must have found something other than sterno to make power this year.

What a waste of taxpayers money. Who cares? How about a congressional hearing discussing why our decent paying jobs are heading overseas. Its time to focus on our dwindlng middle class not some overpayed ball player.

I sold a black synthetic non thumbhole / blue barrel last year for $175.00. I also won it. Sold it to a buddy. Being the gun your talking is nickel and camo I'd probably go $200 but not much more. You can buy one at Natchez Shooters supply right now for $219.95. http://www.natchezss.com/brand.cfm?brand=CV&mfgSubGroup=3425

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Midway. Midway has been my go to place for the past couple years. I've always found they have great prices and usually have what your looking for in stock. Haven't had a problem with them yet. I have no stock in the company and nothing to gain by promoting them. I wouldn't give up on them for the one incident. I also buy from Mid South and Natchez Shooters Supply. I believe they have a $35.00 minimum purchase or you pay a small fee. Check the fine print. Just make sure your order exceeds the minimum. Its hard to make a killing on a one item purchase through any supply co.

What's the rush NASCAR is turning into a real farce. I for one can't get into it yet, and probably never will the way I used too. Can't wait for the local tracks to open around here.

Handguns for Deer - Opinions Needed
str8shooter48 replied to Rem308's topic in Hand Guns & Accessories
I'd probably say my favorite deer gun over the years has been my T/C Contender Super 14 pistol in .35 rem. almost forgot I owned a shotgun. Now that NY has legalized rifle in the southern zone, my 308 Encore is the go to gun, followed by the 209x50. -

T/C Encore in 7mm-08 or 308 win. In a revolver I'd lean more toward the 44mag. -
Good decision. I wish the Walmart's around me sold guns and supplies.
-
They didn't they suck.

HOORAY!!! The Sabres finally got their heads out of their butts. Thrashed the Thrashers 10-1 last night. Hope they can remember what they did last night and do it again against the Maple Leaf tonight.
-
Being a Sabres fan I didn't care for the the outcome of the game. All in all it was a pretty good game. Both teams played hard and looked like they enjoyed it too. Who would have thought a game with this much hype at least here in WNY would go into a shootout, the fans at the stadium got their monies worth today.

Not that rare. Are you using a low power wide angle scope? I have an 1187 slug gun with a Bushnell Trophy 1.75x4X32 wide angle scope on it and the front sight is very visible in the scope but never been a problem. If I go down to 1.75 power from 4X its more noticeable. You learn to look over and never notice it. Funny my Encore 308 is the only other long gun I have with front sight on it. The scope is mount lower or closer to the barrel than the shot gun. With the 3x9x42 SII Sightron I don't ever see the sight. I never really paid a whole lot of attention to it but I Just went down to the safe and got my Encore 209X50 m/l with the same Bushnell Trophy scope as the 1187 I'll be I can see about the last 3"to 4" of barrel. Both guns have taken their fair share of deer so its not a big deal. Just look at your target and that picture goes away.
