I just got a Mathews DXT. Awesome short smooth bow. Husband had a hard time picking between the Z7 and Monster. The z7 was awesome shooting and super smooth but he went with the monster because he is a speed junky. The monster is not smooth on the draw but shoots about as smooth as the Z7. He didn't have a difference in accuracy between the two.

The thing that got me interested was my husband took me too an archery shop and they set up a bow to shoot...I ended up buying it and loved it ever since.

LOL yes he did have a chance to get him...he missed a shot at him the day before. I was never so happy for him to miss the shot that's for sure! We were taking turns hunting, we were just happy to get him either way. :-) Yes it is on private land.

He came in to a grunt. He only had three good legs, the back one was bad and he had been gouged by another buck. Didn't stop him from coming in to look for a fight though! The taxidermist is guessing him to be 7 years old. I doubt he would of made it through winter. He had 19 points.

Green scores- 216 total gross 210 net non typical The typical 10 point frame grossed just over 200! But with the way B&C scores..it knocks it down to 176 net with 24 inches in deductions. Don't worry I am SUPER happy and so is my husband(who missed him the day before at 30 yards). Dont worry the husband redeemed himself..maybe he'll post his buck later.

yeah we were thinking over 170's but we've been hunting him about a month so we'll see. We've had several encounters in the evening of seeing him but just out of range and looks HUGE in person. Keep your fingers crossed. I'll post a couple more pics of him with different views.

Have any of you girls shot this bow yet? I am looking to upgrade next year, I currently have a Parker Challenger it was my first bow and I have loved it for the past 8 years but it max's out with a 50# draw and I feel I should have already upgraded so I could draw more but we have just been in and out of hunting for the past few years. Anyway the passion's have caught my eye but I'm having a hard time finding anyone that has shot it since they are so new. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I'm getting pumped too! Tonight I shot my bow for the first time in over a year and a half! I've been dying to get back out but it seems like after I had my daughter (turning 4 in Nov) I have not been able to make time to get out. My husband and I are getting out this year for deer season and I can't wait!

After taking back and testing several moutries I am finally rewarded a week or so later with my first buck on cam. I have seen this guy within 10 yards 3-4 times and passed every time. Well I had relocated my camera since no action was on the other trail. Did that at noon and looks like he came strolling by 5 hrs later. I had actually seen him that morning and his antler wasn't broke so he did that sometime in the afternoon. Here ya go finally.

It's not like we the consumer have a choice, we can't choose from one gas to another. You couldn't start your own oil company, heck the most wealthy people in world can't either..the oil industry is a MONOPOLY. Gas is something that is a necessity in this country. If free market is your arguement, the oil companies would love to believe that. They could hike gas to $5 a gallon tomorrow, what can you do about it? NOTHING! Even if you do drive a econo car that uses 50mpg, you still MUST buy gas and must pay $5 a gallon. Since the oil industry is such a monopolized market you must have controls over what is accepted as a fair profit. When they hiked the prices due to a disaster that was already a drain on the country, the greedy bastards use it as an excuse to raise their prices. They are always looking for an excuse and it's rediculous. Free market my arse!

Re: Kansas Hunters.... I'm going to try and get out as much as I can this week. Every morning I have been out for 5 hours minimum. **** one day was almost all day except 2 hrs. After seeing those 12 bucks run that doe right under me I can't wait to go and see something like that again! Also need to get my KS lifetime hunting license before I move!
