Yea my wife surprised me and went over yesterday to pick up my euro mount from my bow kill last season. She said he was working on a bear that looked awesome lol. Figured it might be yours. He's had pretty good turn around times this year from everybody that I've talked to.

I got the check-in date right this time lol. Let's hear the weekend plans. I never did get my haircut last weekend, so that is on the agenda at some point. The yard needs mowed, but looks like it's going rain off & on today & tomorrow so not sure when that will happen. Sunday Emma has ball practice, and Evan has his first 11U football game in the afternoon so looking forward to that. Practice has been kicking his butt but I love seeing him working hard at something besides a video game.

Keep it up & your house will look like the Wonders of Wildlife museum lol.

Sounds like you've had a lot going on. Glad to hear all of the kids are doing well. I remember Joe just being a kid when I started on this forum.

How's every-bodies weekend shaping up? Tonight I'm getting a hair cut & mowing if the rain holds off. I never made it to the farm last weekend, so hoping to slide up there tomorrow to get some pre-season prep started with shooting lanes & stands. Sunday Emma has ball practice.

I've wondered how good those saws actually work. They push them pretty hard on a lot of hunting shows. If it were me I think I would just get a refund too. If the next one you get is a turd you'll be doing this all over again.

What are everyone weekend plans? I have a cousin in town from Colorado, so getting together with her and some family tonight. I haven't seen her in years so it will be nice to catch up. Tomorrow morning Evan has football weigh ins, and Emma is helping coach the middle school softball team in a small tournament. If I can, I would like to get up to the farm on Sunday to get my cameras out & check some stands.

I'm always in for a good old fashioned RT deer contest.

I've never bear hunted with a bow, but switched to Slick Tricks several years ago for deer hunting & really like them. They are a great 4 blade design & very durable.

A little late to the party....glad someone handled the check-in thread in my absence. We just got back from Myrtle Beach late Saturday night. It's the first time I can remember that I took off an entire week. Had a good time, but the weather sucked. Emma was in a Softball World Series tournament down there. The team struggled a bit, but won a few games. Emma had a pretty good weekend going 8 for 14 with a few walks sprinkled in. The boys enjoyed the beach & pool when it wasn't raining. Today it's back to reality lol.

Emma has a college showcase tournament in Springfield this weekend. Two games today, two tomorrow, and one on Sunday. She is up there with her team, but neither me or the wife could take off today so we'll miss a couple of games. I might skip Sunday's game and go to the farm & get some prep work done for deer season since the weather is going to be nice. On a side note there was a ride the ducks boat that capsized on Table Rock Lake last night. So far 11 have died & 5 still missing last I heard. We know quite a few people down there for a softball tournament this week that were planning to, or had ridden the ducks earlier. Another week gone by. What does everyone have planned this weekend? We did have a weekend off from softball, but yesterday Emma got asked to guest play for a different team so I guess I know where we will be lol. Another heat advisory runs till tomorrow night for us....the things we do for our kids. I will most likely have to work a few hours tomorrow morning as well just to get caught up on some things.

We were out of town Thursday through Saturday. Daughter had a tournament in Peoria...it did not go very good lol. We did find time to swing by the Bass Pro Shop there before we headed home.

Last Friday check in of the month. What's the weekend plans for everybody? No sporting events for the kids this weekend so that's a needed break. Most likely I'll have to work tomorrow. It's supposed to be around 100 the next few days here, so probably won't be doing much outdoors. We have tickets to the Cardinal's game on Sunday so looking forward to that.

Same here in Illinois. We went from one of the coldest Aprils on record to one of the hottest Mays on record. We caught a little break last weekend, but outside of that we have been above average temperature wise for almost two months straight. We've almost hit 100 a handful of times....I can't wait for fall.

Friday is here! What's the weekend looking like? Another softball tournament this weekend for Emma. Some very tough teams in this one. At least we have a break from the heat for a day or two. Evan has a baseball game tomorrow morning as well, but I might be stuck working for a few hours.

Had a pretty good weekend. The kids got me a nice card & a tee shirt. Spent the weekend in the heat at a ball park of course lol. It was totally worth it.
