Re: My sister is in the hospital.... again prayers sent, as for the emt's, i am one. i really have a problem with SOME of the paramedic level services out there. it is not easy to start an IV in the back of a moving rig. true, they can push about as much meds as a doc can, in the field. but on short trips to the hospital, they SOMETIMES can be at the hopspital in the amount of time they spent on scene trying to start an IV. sorry ya'll had a bad experience, talk to the hospital admin or EMS supervisor and let them know how bad the service was. that is the only way things will change. SHAT...

Re: Quit because of a few misses? hang in there lady, dont give up. i missed 19 deer before i ever hit one, then 3 more before i ever killed one. started bowhunting in the 5th grade, got my first kill, my freshman year, OF COLLEGE!!!! i would just draw back and forget everything i had been taught! every shot has to be mechanical, just like on the range. a little trick i used may help you too. take a piece of paper about the width of your limb, and about 3 inches tall. on this paper, with a sharpie, write something that you can glance at before each shot. RELAX, PICK A SPOT, SQUEEZE, is what i wrote on mine. try it. but whatever you do, never give up!!! oh, i forgot to tell you, tape this to the back side of your upper limb, just above the riser, that way when you draw your bow, you can see it. SHAT...

Re: GOt a big Problem get a small tarp 5x10 or so, and after you gut him, wrap him up in it, secure him with bungee's, and lean into it. if he's that big, adrenaline will get you a long ways! also, you could go ahead and skin him and quarter him up. bring him out a piece at a time. SHAT...

Re: NAP Spitfire® XP Pro Broadheads..Looking for info i am still shooting 2 of the origional 3 spitfire 100's i bought in 99. i spine shot a doe monday morning at 15 yards, from 26 feet up. cut completely thru a rib about an inch from her spine. still got 16" of penetration, exiting the other side behind the shoulder. she never took a step. on a straight pass thru, the wound channel is huge. buy them with confidence!
