  1. Re: Do you use the \"Ignore This User\" feature? Nope! Don't find it neccessary with such an awesome place as this. Keep up the good work people!
  2. Re: Mushroom Huntin Questions Cutter and myself have gathered Morels for years and had great success in and around areas that have rotting leaf litter and moist ground both in spruce populated areas and poplar and light willow bunches. Get a book for your area and see what is supposed to grow there or talk to an ecologist in your area. It's a blast and you get to eat great tasting table fair with your wild game.l
  3. Re: What pocket knife do you have? Many to choose from but my Gerber Gator is by far the most used.
  4. Re: Weed eater....gas or electric? I haven't had a problem with my gas weed wacker since I bought it about 4 or so years ago.

    Just wondering

Re: Just wondering I wish we had your prices up here in Canada! If you look at what we are paying right now it works out to be about $4.20 a gallon Canadian. That hurts, and it's rumoured to go as high as $5.40 by June. Ouch!
  6. Re: How many tattoos do you have? Family crest and a few others! Seven in total.
  7. Re: Bowbat Pack Thanks for the help billkay, I appreciate it. I'll try and get in touch with Mike.

    Ice Age 2

Re: Ice Age 2 Waiting for the video release to watch it. I liked the first one so I'll probably like the second.
  9. Re: gobblerbane08 update Apr 8 Good to hear Dakota is doing well. Sneak him in a slush from 7-11 dad, that will cut the dry mouth. Get well Dakota, all the best to a speedy recovery.
  10. Re: deer hunting games All the games I play are on the PS2 game console. All the Cabela's series are fun to play. I have yet to play or own an online computer game though, sounds like fun.

    OYSTERS

Re: OYSTERS Were the Oysters in question of the Sea Fairing kind or Praire Oysters? LOL jk I like them smoked with a little dill sauce on the side.

  13. Re: Bowbat Pack I was on their site billkay and they had no pricing or retailer info either. Did you get a price on them at the ATA show? They look like they would be a great piece of equipment.
  14. Has anyone seen the bowbat pack by Game Plan Gear? Looks to be a great pack for bowhunting. Read the article on it and it seems to be a great piece for stand hunting(doubles as a backrest and accessories holder). If anyone knows who carries this product let me know, i need to find a price. Thanks

    Insert Glue

Re: Insert Glue Hot melt for this guy for many years. Works great and like Tony said, it makes adjusting easier.
  17. Re: Who is YOUR fav. hunting pro staffer Hard to pick just one, I like too many personalities. I truly like the Realtree gang and many others for their Individual contributions to bringing us informative and quality packed hunting stories and products we can use. My hats off to those who are hardcore prostaffers.

    What's the Deal...

Re: What\'s the Deal... Advantage and Realtree HD patterns are also hard to get up here in Canada. Some are available through Wally World, but most Gun shops and sports stores only carry Mossy or the odd piece of Advantage. We need more Realtree Bill! If you make it they will buy. LOL

    Drive-In Theater

Re: Drive-In Theater Our local Drive-in closed a few years ago and is for sale. It's a tough business to run with theaters as a competitor(bad weather doesn't affect their business). I enjoyed it when it was here though.

    Perfect!

Re: Perfect! You guys will be eating your veggies while I'm waiting to plant up here. Won't see tillable soil till May sometime , unless it gets really warm much sooner than normal.
  21. Re: High risk for severe weather Its time to move to Saskatchewan wtnhunt! We seldom have extreme weather like that. I drove through a severe storm in Michigan (upper) last summer and boy was it an adventure, 95 mph winds with hail and then rain and lightning. Couldn't see past the hood of the truck.

    My new favorite drink

Re: My new favorite drink Sounds interesting! Probably won't see any around here for a long time though. New flavours take time to show up if ever.
  23. Re: Who wants to come over for dinner???? I would come over to help you with that problem but I'm afraid it would be gone before I get there. LOL Thats a bummer way to get good eats for lunch.
  24. Re: Here\'s a SHOCKER for ya.... Awesome idea for a wall mural in my den! Looks really good.
  25. Re: Julian Beever! (Chalk Artist) *Pics* I've seen some of this guys work before and he is truly a talented artist. I'm amazed at what he can do. I wish he would do some hunting or outdoor themed work though.
