Re: New Rifle Pics!! robk- up here in canada my gun was about $975 + tax, 15% up here. i just checked out the browning website and you are looking at $731 USD for a BLR in a .22-250. here is the calibers that they make in the BLR: .22-250 Rem, .243 Win, 7mm-08 Rem, .308 Win, .358 Win, .270 Win, .30-06 Spfld, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, .300 WSM, .270 WSM, 7mm WSM, .450 Marlin and .325 WSM. they have a very wide range of calibers.

Re: Ice Shanty GONE! ya if the shack was anchored down good with cable, there would be a slim chance of it blowing away. it would take a lot of wind to snap the cables, and move the shack. it sounds like theft to me. makes you wonder what some people are thinking these days eh?

Re: Ice Shanty GONE! wow, that is NOT good!! i would be POed if someone took my shack too!! yea it sounds a little heavy to be blown across the ice. you would also be able to tell if there was marks on the ice from the shack scraping across it. my shack blew into shore one year. we had 110kph (70mph) winds and stupid me only anchored it on the one side. it looked like she spun around and around and around untile the rope snapped and then it blew a quarter mile into shore. it was right in front of my grandma's though so we didnt have to go looking for it. i sure did get a scare whenever i looked out and there was no shack though

Re: Chevy engine intake gasket sure sounds like an intake gasket or waterpump gasket to me. if it is at the front of the engine, it could be the waterpump gasket.

Re: New Rifle Pics!! yup, we sure do like them a lot. i figured i'd get the .300 WSM for a couple reasons. #1: i am in love with dad's .300 Win Mag #2: i want to start moose hunting too, so i can use it for both deer and moose. i am totally impressed with it.
