I have studio8 that is supposed to be able to edit MPEG files but I have never tried it. Do a google search for MPEG2 editing and you should be able to find something. A friend that I recently met over the net wants to submit video footage for my next movie, but it's all shot on the new mini dvd-r disks. My question is, can it be edited like the mini dv (.AVI) format, and what format is it recorded in on the disks? Anyone work with them before? JP

I don't know how many times (usually during the rut), that while walking to a stand...bucks have come running to the sound of my footsteps. So I got the idea of taking my haul rope with a big beener clip on the end of it, and bounced it on the ground imitating those sounds. It's worked several times so far, but I'm still waiting on that monster to come into it. Another version I've tried is to take your rattling antlers and do as in the pic below. Bounce them around below your stand, and you get the sound of two bucks fighting (on the ground instead of in a tree) complete with the sounds of them stomping around in the dry leaves. Has anyone ever tried anything similar to this? JP

Here's a clip of my little hunting buddy doing one of his favorite things. I don't even have to pressure him to do it either. He's a pretty good shot too for a 4 year old. He cries at the door when I leave to go hunting, cause he wants to go sooo bad. I used to cry every time my dad went out west on a hunting trip. Anyone remember those days when you were young? Re: First Day Double Video Clip Thanks all. Buckee, At first I didn't think I was gonna get her to stop with the mouth bleat, so I made the second one pretty loud. DSGB, That would be nasty a$$ Copenhagen. Outdoorsman, They both went about 45 yards each and where easy to trail despite the rain. JP
