  2. Re: He\'s back!!!!! (PIC) [ QUOTE ] That's a heck of a buck, much less an Oklahoma buck!! Post up some pics of him from last year. Looks like a 2 1/2 yr. old to me now!! Exciting to see hard antler!!!! [/ QUOTE ] That is last year's pic. I saw him driving in to my stand this week end, but I couldn't get a pic. I'll post some trail pics of him from this year as soon as I get one. I just moved a cam this weekend, so hopefully by next weekend I'll have a new pic
  3. Re: He\'s back!!!!! (PIC) Thanks, but He's still got one year left on his free pass, then he's an open target. I think that 1 more year will turn him into a real trophy, if not a borderline freak! He's got some junk growin' on his brow tines, i sure hope they split this year! Oh yeah, check out that stand placement in the upper lefthand corner! I can't wait to get some stand time in!!!
  4. Re: Muzzy Moments? I have shot 11 deer with my bow since I started bow hunting 2 years ago, and I owe Muzzy for everyone of them. Last year I had three Muzzy Moments on opening mornig, by 8:30 am!!!!! In addition, I've also had Muzzy Moments with numerous Armadillos and a 185 hog in last january. Muzzys get it done!!!!!!!!
  5. Re: The Sky Is Falling! The Sky Is Falling! I know, its amazing!! Im down around Norman, and its the same situation here, except we haven't had quite so much rain. I also woke up to 60 degrees temp. this morning and I couldn't believe it. i was ready for Oct. 1 before, but now I'm jacked!!!!!!!
  6. This is a buck that I saw last year, and was fortunate enough to get a trail cam pic. Well, on Saturday I was going in to check on my stand and I caught a brief glimpse of him as he was entering some heavy cover. I am so pumped that he made it through the season last year. I'm gonna let him walk one more year, then he's gonna meet Mr. Muzzy!!!! I set up a new camera, so hopefully I'll get some new pics of him. I am so pumped that he's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Re: another night of carping, Pics Cool, thanks for the rigging tips
  8. Re: Trapping Hogs We trap hogs too, and it is fun, but it can also be a pain, especially when we get deer in the trap. Nice pics!!!
  9. Re: gloves? Say what you want, but I ALWAYS wear gloves. Not to keep my hands clean, but as protection from anything the game is carying that I don't want! My hands are always cut up during the season, and I just don't want to be blood brothers with a deer.
  10. Re: another night of carping, Pics Thats awesome! How did you rig up your crawdads?

  12. Re: Monster Bucks 14 Vol. 2 Ive only got Vol. 1, but I'm gonna pick up Vol 2 tomorrow when I go to Bass Pro. I'm pumped!!!!!
  13. Re: Muzzy Bad to the Bone bucks 5 I really like the Muzzy videos, but it's sure hard to beat Monster Buck and Primos Videos. But I will watch/buy just about any video on the market. I love to watch different styles of hunting, in different parts of the country
  14. Re: Which Release? I agree. Its completely up to you to choose the one that is most comfortable for your use. I have always shot a Scott Itty Bitty Goose, and I have never had a single problem with it. Like stated above, go to a proshop where they will let you shoot several different models and go from there. Good luck!
  15. Re: how long did it take till hunting with a bow I've always rifle hunted (since about 6yrs old), but I just started bow hunting 2 years ago. I bought my bow in early September, about 3 weeks before bow season here in Oklahoma. I shot nearly everyday for three weeks, and by October 16 I had connected on my first 2 does. Its all about having the confidence in yourself and in your abilities. I knew I was ready and rock solid out to 25 yards that first season, and when the chance presented itself, I was ready. I shoot year round now, and I'm always trying to improve. I don't think there is a magic time frame as to when you are ready to hunt, I think that its different for every hunter
  16. Re: Deer carriers? Never used a cart, because we've always used 4 wheelers and ATVs. I know a cart can be a life saver though, I say go for it!
  17. Re: 2 months, 61 days and counting!! I\'m fired up!! Sunday October 1, You know where I'll be. For some reason Buck Fever hit me about 2 months early this year. I can't even sleep at night, I am possessed!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Re: Late season trophy gopher.. Right on, enjoy the fillets!!!!
  21. Re: Ameristep Ladder stands? I bought a cheap Ameristep ladder stand from walmart in late November, and I am really happy with it. I can tell its not made as well as some of my other stands, but for the price you cant beat it. Its quiet and relatively comfortable and also easy to pu together and easy to transport and set up. If you can find a good deal on one, I'd go for it!
  22. Re: Monster Carp well, there was a pic, but its gone now. Anybody?
