  1. Re: KASEY KAHNE Sings on with AVON Does anyone still buy AVON?
  2. In Minnesota, we go through a lot of season changes and weather changes in the Spring. When or how early should you be scouting before your turkey hunt? I am so excited... even though we will not know if we get picked in the lottery yet but I would "assume" so... It seems that they move around a lot.... Any tips or suggestions ...
  3. There is a section off of the Mississippi River where I go to feed the ducks and geese when I am not hunting.... There was a group of large old mallards (lots of curly-Q's on the rear-end) and one of them was completely green metallic... you know when the sun reflects off of him you see blue and purple too... I took a picture of him but I need to get it on a CD-Rom so I can post it... He was so cool looking but has anyone ever seen anything like it?
  4. Re: Michael Waddell Does he ever come to Minnesota or surrounding states?
  5. Re: 2004 hunting seasons I enjoyed some of the adventures I endured throughout 2004... probably bagged 18 mallards, 6 geese, 9 pheasants, two blue-winged teal, and a big loud obnoxious crow... I called him into the duck blind and shot him and the dog retrived him... It was hilarious! However I did fall in a creek, and in the swamp... boots and waders filled with water, about froze my hands off trying to break up ice and retrive some mallards, hit my head on BIG tree when I was trying to manuever my way in the dark... Good times... And for some reason it keeps me going back!
  6. Re: Strangest kill duck hunting Well I have to re-type this story beacuse I had a rough time registering on realtree... but now I am so here it goes... One blue-day out in the duck blind.. not a thing going on... I was standing up stretching my legs when I was practicing calling and was challenged to a rendition of "Smoke on the Water".. as I was belting it out a single greeny mallard flew right at me-directly right at me.. I shot him and he landed right behind me in the canoe... It literally scared the poop out of me because I wasn't ready for him...It made such a large boom and I think the dog was mad though.... Good times... I laughed so hard...
  7. Just looking to see if there are any Minnesotan woman hunters or near by looking to take on some new adventures in 2005... I mainly focus on ducks, geese, pheasant, and turkey but I want to go elk or caribou hunting this next year.... Let me know if you are out there!
