Re: Once in a lifetime! The pictures turned out ok - even got the antler in the air! Now I need to learn how to post them. I will read the tutorial and give it a shot tomorrow. I'm going to be away from the computer the rest of the day....sorry.

Had a once in a lifetime event happen this weekend and I just had to share. Spent Saturday in Yellowstone NP and got to watch a nice bull shed right in front of me! It was unbelievable! He knocked one side on a tree and it popped off and then he went nuts! I think it threw his balance off and I thought he was going to tip over literally. It only took about 10 seconds though and he shook his head violently and the other side popped off! I may have a photo with the antler in the air - getting them developed today! After shedding the second, he absolutely lost it!!! I would compare it to a bucking bronco in the rodeo - he was spinning and kicking and throwing his head around..it was awesome to watch! Then he just took off in a sprint into the timber. I was back through there about 5 hours later and all be darned if some ##$%^@ hadn't picked them up already. Illegal as heck in the park. Too bad greed gets to people like that. I wanted to get some close ups but that didn't happen. I will try to post some pictures if I get some good ones. Although I'm new to the forum so posting pictures might take me some time to learn. Mark

Re: Western Monatana Sheds I live in Helena and though I haven't been out looking yet, I'm still seeing lots of whitetails and muleys still packing. They will get with it soon though I think and it continues through March. Light snow conditions may have them a little more spread out this year though. Good luck down there.

Re: A little Sticker(pic) Great shed! I shot a young buck 2 years ago that has a double main beam with a drop tine coming off of it. Felt bad shooting a 2 1/2 year old deer, but a unique addition to my collection.
