  1. Re: Remove the Trail Cam???? I've left them up where I hunt. I sometimes get to see from my stand how deer react (or not) to them which is an interesting thing to know about future placements of the camera.
  2. Re: Safety Harness Suggestions [ QUOTE ] I bought a Summit SOP, not sure which model, think it was around $35-$40. This will be my first year using it, but I think I am gonna like it!! [/ QUOTE ] I bought a SOP last year. It is not cumbersome and seems like a secure product. I also just bought the climbing system that secures your climb and descent from a tree stand...I felt it was a good investment considering many falls occur from climbing in/out of the stand!
  3. Re: Apple Trees i always find it best to hunt apples trees when they are in the middle of dropping. i like when half have fallen and deer and eating them and they keep coming back knowing that more will fall.
  4. Re: Team 2 i see we've got our name. looks good to me.

  11. Re: hunting on riges i typically prefer ridges because bucks will cruise them around rut time. plus you have the advantage on them not looking down on you from above. especially when calling or rattling.
  12. Re: Trigger Speed of Homebrews? i appreciate the input...this is helping me out
  13. How comparable are homebrews' trigger speed compared to some market models? Also has anyone made a homebrew video cam...and if so, do they like it? Thanks for sharing....
  14. Re: Bagging Turkey with a Bow ? I hunted to fill my second spring tag with a bow kill but never got the chance to connect on a bird. I think I am going to give it a try this fall again.
  15. Re: Montec Broadheads I used them for the first time last season. I was VERY pleased with their accuracy and their penetration. I shot a nice buck with them.
  16. Re: Biologic \"HOTSPOT\" no plow?? I tried it once. It didn't seem to hold up long enough the for the deer passing through to graze on. They had it all eaten up before opening day of bow season!
  17. Re: 2006 FALL Turkey Contest? does someone need to ask a moderator to start a contest?
  18. Has anyone thought about putting together a fall contest? I know the contests are fun and bring us to know each other a little more. What do you think? Who starts those?!
