  2. Re: Super Bowl Picks.... Well, have to go with Patriots as I'm not a fan of philly since I heard what went down in Philly when the vikes played there. One fan, a mother of one of the vikings, was beaten on in the stands for wearing her son's jersey and I heard from a friend who went that other fans were getting harrassed (Drinks and food thrown on, etc). There is nothing wrong with a good ribbing and the vikes/packer fans go at it in a good natured way but this went way over the line. I have no respect for Philadelphia so...Go Pats!!!
  3. Re: Jeff Gordon Jeff Gordon won 4 Championships driving against one of the greatest...Dale Earnhardt. For that he has my respect and my support. The innuendos about him being gay are about as far fetched as it gets. As if the media wouldn't be all over that if it was true. I'd be jealous too of all of the women he has hanging around him....
  4. Re: I got TWO Wisconsin tags this year!!! MattA311 & TCEncore, I wouldn't fret about hunting late as it can be some of the best around. I drew Time period E in Wisconsin starting May 11th I think and always apply for 2nd to the last season in Minnesota every year because I get drawn every year for it. I've shot two different gobblers the past few years around May 21st and they both flew off the roost right down to me after some heavy gobbling and hearing no hens. Doesn't happen every year but I love that late season. The weather is typically warmer, the foliage is awesome and although the birds can blend in so can the hunter, and I love the challenge of going after a bird that has been hunted several seasons. Good luck on your hunts and enjoy it. I tend to call softly when they are on the roost and play hard to get. On those birds that I took off the roost, I yelped softly once and then it was soft clucks every so often and then silence.
