  5. Re: Songbirds-- juncos, sparrows, chickedies etc... This morning in my yard, the dug out like 10 different holes, trying to get to the food that was buried under 5 inches of snow. They push it out of the way with their chests and loosen it up with their feet and beak.. Pretty cool.
  6. Re: Sasquatch Hunting Dang you guys are good with Photoshop. How do you do that?
  7. Re: Anyone hear about the baby in D.R.? I don't believe it, but I just figured that I should ask around and see if it is just the idiots in my area...
  8. Did anyone hear the story about the baby that was born with a beard and a full set of teeth in the Dominican Republic? Supposedly the mother asked the doctor why the baby was born this way and the doctor said that it was definetly unusual. The baby then said, " You think I'm wierd, see what happens this Friday and next Friday the whole world is going to end." This happened last week. Last Friday, the Mother, the baby and the doctor all died from heart attacks. This Friday is Good Friday. This story was on the Spanish News Channels. The baby was supposedly born talking. Did anyone else hear this story? One girl in my school actually broke down and started crying thinking the whole world is going to end.

  11. How do these birds find food? Before the next snowstorm, put down bird seed. Wait until the next morning and watch how these birds find the food. Do they see it or smell it? A combination of both? What do you guys think? We got about 3 inches of snow tonight and are expecting more... So much for Spring huh... But seriously, how do these birds find their food under snow and stuff?
  12. Re: How many forum members does it take? What about the Light bulb thing at the left of the screen when looking at the board index? LOL
  13. Re: Busted! Thats a wierd looking shed.
  14. Re: New to the forum Welcome!
  15. Re: New York--- SB120-- lowering the age of bowhunters ttt
  16. Re: Falconry Look into it in your State/Province.
  17. Re: Coyoye Dens ???? I would have shot them, no matter how big/small they are... If they are small, they are going to get bigger and when bigger, they are stronger, when stronger they hunt. The hunt deer.
  18. Does anyone participate in the sport of Falconry? Falconry is when someone is a trained Falconer that is trained to hunt with falcons. Here in NY, you have to be 14 to take the class and acquire a license. I am only 13, when I turn 14 I am going to take the class. NYS DEC supplies you with either an American Kestrel or a Red Tailed Hawk. They are trapped from the wild and its all part of the training process. In other words, you send the falcon out and it comes back with squirrels, rabbits, pheasants etc...
  19. Re: The Truth [ QUOTE ] Great name for that topic squirrel!! [/ QUOTE ]
  20. Re: Got a Call! Don't nail the gobbler, shoot it! Good Luck! Triple-bearded Toms..... wow...
  21. Re: What\'s your bag limit? [ QUOTE ] Central new york 2 breaded birds in the spring and 2 either sex in the fall. [/ QUOTE ] Whats a breaded bird? LOL... J/K Yeah what he said, but they are not breaded until you shoot it.
  22. Re: Hunting on Game Farms On a Pheasant reserve my dad went to a while back, you could not shoot the birds on the ground. The dogs were killing the birds before someone could get a shot off. We have it all on video... The dogs almost got shot.
  23. Re: Walking up Bunnies I've only shot one rabbit in my life and that was done by myself. I walked through over 100 yards of brush piles, kicking them throwing things into them, trying to get something to jump out. The one rabbit I saw, did not jump out, it stayed in the brush, and just moved forward a little when I shot. That was the rabbit that I shot. For squirrel hunting, I have taken many, too many to remember. It depends on what you are hunting them with and when you are hunting them.
  24. Re: Scouting turkey sign in the snow? If you think they are strutting already, Look for drag marks in the snow along their tracks.
