  1. I was just wondering the success that anyone has had with the winchester extended range shells with the undertaker choke because from my benelli m1 field it is amazing....21 pellets in the head at 40 yards and 13 at 50 and 7 at 60 yards...i was very impressed
  2. Re: Spring Gobbler of 04\' thanks guys....i had to settle for a 20 lbs jake last year but he had a 5 1.2 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs i think he was a late hatched two year old
  3. This was my first bird....i got set up about 150 yards away from him and as soon as i heard the first bird of the morning fly down i let out a fly down cackle and about 6 yelps.....as soon as i did that i heard him fly down....soo i cutted a few times to pump him up and then i just scratched the leaves from then on doing some very very light clucks and purrs and i had two strutters come up and i shot the biggest of the two...the other one had beard rot and only had about a 7 inch beard....but mines stats ended up being 22lbs. 10 inch beard...and 1 inch spurs....

  17. My friend and i just got 200 more acres to hunt about 15 minutes away from us in Illinois and it is slammin. Owner has only had cows on the pasture and the pasture is thick. Ive never seen as many rubs as ive seen at this place and i found a rub as big as a telephone pole(no lie). We were also told that the ground hasnt been hunted in over 15 years. The neighbors have killed two booners in the past 5 years. And to top it all off when we were leaving we peeked down into this little meadow and there were two bucks at the bottom bedded down....one was about 130's and one i wouldnt doubt him hitting the low to mid 160's....absolutely amazed by the potential of this ground cant wait till oct 1st.
