My question is simple does anyone use side by side double barrel shotguns anymore? I would really like to kill a turkey with one of these. So if anyone has any suggestions on who makes a good DB let me know.. Thanks guys!

I would like to say thank you for everyone's advice on my previous post about my delimna with the turkeys usually flying down the way i didnt want. I scored big time today by bagging a 22 pounder with a ten inch beard sporting 1 and 1/4 inch spurs.. Thanks again everyone

OK heres the deal the past couple of years the turkeys have roosted in the same spot as always, On the edge of a cliff. Sometimes they will fly down and stay up top and other times they fly down into the bottom. Any suggestions how i can get them to fly to where i am. I can get them to gobble on roost by calling but it seems i am only like 40% sucessful for them to come to me. Is this just hopeless of can i try something else? Would pretending to be flying down on top work with say a primos real wing? Thanks guys

Yesterday was Ohio's opener but due to the fact that i cant miss tests for college i couldnt go. So in just a few minutes i will be heading out for the half hour drive to the property. We all know that feeling.. the one when we cant sleep the night before and cant eat the morning of where your blood pumps with eagerness to get to the woods. EVERYONE BE SAFE OUT THERE TODAY NOTHING IS WORTH GETTING HURT OVER! Remeber to give your praise this morning to the man who gave his life for us JESUS CHRIST!
