i want to shoot it before i make an opinion. everyone seems to love the monster but im more of a fan of the reezen myself. just my opinion, i like the way it feels in my hand and the balance of the bow. i shoot a switchback xt and if it wasnt for not having the money at the time unless i traded the switchback, i would have the reezen right now. but i will never sell that switchback xt that bow is perfection and its signed by Big JIM THOME!

so a little update from me. . . i was telling my brother about him getting in the stand more and telling him how things are starting to get good. well on his way home last night a buck chasing two does came flying across the road and conor smashed the doe. the buck ran free though and he was pretty good size my brother said. bummer for the car though looks to be about over five grand in damage. lucky for full coverage. oh if anyone shoots one, you should post it on here we need all the encouragement we can get lol:) no more rain!

very very true, what you have taught them or probably the same morals and lessons that you were been taught as you were younger. the kinds of things a parent should teach there kids. im with ya man, oh and dont sell your self short, if i remember right your in law enforcement and you guys put up with a lot crap as well lol:) i think im gonna snag kyle (my niece) this saturday and have her come sit with me and see what she thinks. as of right now im trying to explain what facts and opionions are:) thats guys for letting me vent a little bit. oh and ps im not bashing on school teachers by any means. i had a teacher in high school that made a big impact on my life and think highly of teachers for what they do each day.

i agree with steve. sneak in there and try and pick up a trail on him. like everyone said he wont go far. just be looking for him because it may surprise ya where he is layin. that happen to my buddy last year, we snuck up on him and his deer was layin not fifteen yards in front of us. had we been ready for anything he would of got another arrow in him. have your bow ready and get another arrow in em. hes a giant deer bud. good luck! keep us updated

Amen brother! who is to tell them what they can dip there nose into anyways. i respect teachers and for the most part they put up with a lot. but seriously she is four years old and they are instilling there own personal beliefs into kids that they may not even see in later years. those are beliefs and opinions that they should be only telling their own children. and i agree with whoever it was above that said they should be teaching abc's and what not and thats exactly right, if this woman wanted to be a therapist she should have choose another career path. it just makes me so upset that she is telling those kids that. oh and as for the hands off policy, in high school it was the same deal, if someone started a fight and the other guy laid down on the floor and took the beating both would be suspended for the week. insane! if someone saw someone being bullied or in a fight and tried to break it up all three would be suspend. Isn't indifference the exact same as the person doing the bullying? thats how i was raised, if you see someone being picked on, and you do nothing about it, your just as bad as that person. All in all im still talkling to her trying to get it out of her head and she isnt having it. this is going to take some time all because of someone getting a little too power hungry:poke:

wow i would say so! thats a dandy hope you two cross paths! good luck

So my little niece is four years old going on 30. she picks up things so fast and listens to just about everything i tell her. she listens and seems to really like deer hunting and tells me to always stop by when i shoot a deer so she can see it. She watches hunting movies with me all the time and always says she cant wait till she is a little older so she can go with me. so with all that said listen to this. Im over at my sisters house and ask my niece how pre school is going. She starts telling me about all the nice kids and how nice her teacher is. so far so good right? then she tells me how im bad because her teacher said you should never ever hurt an animal and shooting deer and hunters are bad. i know right!? i tried explaining to her that its ok and neccerssary and that her teacher just has an opionion and that im not bad for it being a hunter. but its like her mind is made up because she is taught to listen to her teacher. i really dont think this is something to be discussed in school let alone pre school. say hello to many months of damage control on this one! when i was in school the opener of shotgun season was almost like a national holiday and you were excused from school for a day. now they are teaching that hunters are bad and lawfully haresting animals is wrong. what is the world coming to : s

ok a little update from me, went out sunday and found a few more rubs, but rubs on bigger trees and they were trashed. checked my trail cam hoping to find a lot of pictures, instead i was an idiot and didnt get it set up right so no pictures lol. but checked and refreshed a couple mock scrape sites and they looked like they had been worked by another deer. im going to put my dripper on one of them so i can fool the buck into thinking this "other" deer is hanging around now. hopefully wiz him off and catch him looking for a fight and let the mathews and rage broadheads eat! looks like the rain is over now boys, lets get these crops out and hopefully get these deer moving!

Of coarse i do, and i still believe that deer was sent to me by the man upstairs. lol this deer had no business coming through where i was set up i just got lucky i guess. Anyways it was second shotgun season 2004. i was fifteen years old and still was learning, my dad was at work so i had to walk to the woods which i remember was never fun because from the house to my stand it was about a mile and half. anyways i got in the tree and remember sitting there thinking what a beautiful day it was for december the fourth. a few hours later i saw a bunch of doves spook out of a clearing and i was hoping that a deer had spooked them. sure enough this buck came walking out headed right for me my heart started thumping as the deer just kept coming to me never stopping and taking his time like they tend to do. as he made the 400 yard dash from where i first saw him it seemed like no time and he was twenty yards away, sun setting beating down on his body making him look almost red. he kept coming in till he was about ten yards under my stand. i stopped him and BOOM! i saw the hole open up right behind his shoulder i couldnt believe i made a good shot ( but from ten yards how could you not lol ) the deer ran about 30 yards and piled up. i have never been so stoked! i will never forget that day as long as i live. he was a good lookin six point with no brow tines haha. and a hoss of a body on him for how young he was.

That is an absolute hawg of a deer. congrats on the kill, keeping up that Il corn fed rep! awesome buck

It was a good thing what you did. especially that you ended your hunt to go take care of a wounded animal. thats shows a lot about you, stuff like that can get me too. there will always be another day to hunt right. good luck out there
-
Just got word the farmer is coming to pick corn on a 180 acre chunk of ground a hunt about 45 miles north of me. i haven't hunted it once this year and im going to have a chance this week. im hoping we get some cool temperatures and maybe these bucks start running. ill let ya know if anything progresses. We are getting close boys and girls! Kyle

i agree, something needs to be done. Ted knows whats up

thats really sad. prayers sent to her family and friends. this seems to be happening more often. i read an article a few months back about coyotes becoming less fearful of humans and making there way into towns and even city's to find food resulting in more coyote attacks. Kyle
