Re: losing my mind yeah i tried to tell my parents that spending the extra money on the leaf river would be so worth it in the long run, but they dont really understand any of this stuff my dad is an oldschool hunter and doesnt really care about technology, he doesnt even have a cell phone LOL everytime i tell them that they shouldve gotten the leaf river they just tell me im spoiled enough for them getting me this one, im grateful that they got it for me because even though its a moultrie it wasnt cheap, but dang i know if that leaf river was out at the fam right now id be getting great pics every week.....i guess ill contact moultrie and bassproshops and see wholl replace it thanks for the help though guys

Re: losing my mind well after it was inside a while, the trigger started to work at longer distances so it seems maybe it was just too cold after all....dont understand how guys on here are getting pictures in places like sasch during the winter but mine wont work in maryland lol ....whatever i guess u get what u pay for and thats what i get for getting a moultrie i guess ill have to wait till spring or until it isnt getting down into freezing temps here at night i hope to be able to post some pics sooner or later

Re: losing my mind yeah i took the camera home and now have it setup in the living room....for some reason its only taking pictures when someone is about 3 feet or less from it....could the Ir be bad? or does anyone know if it can be adjusted?

Re: losing my mind the only time i had it out in the cold was this week but it still did the same exact thing that happened when it wasnt cold out. winter didnt really even hit until about 3 or 4 weeks ago

i got a moultrie trail cam for christmas (the 4.1 or 3.1) and it hasnt even produced a single pic besides my face while im setting it. everytime i put it out i get great pictures of myself, but its as if it just dies once i leave because everytime i come back it says "battery low" and the only pics are of me. I've tried new batteries so it cant be bad battery. does anyone know what it could be?

Re: Callin\' all deer you know ive come to the conclusion that the deer are honestly getting call shy in the area i hunt, grunt calls and rattling works great on attracting 2 year old deer but ive never seen a mature deer come running to the horns, and ive actually had mature bucks spook when i let out the slightest grunt with my call, the only thing i blind call with is the can, and i only bring my grunt call if nothing else works when i see a buck thats outa range, ill give it a try but it usually makes the buck ease off or flat out run away. I think they just have gotten used to getting grunted at so much that they dont even wanna hear it. The only way mature bucks are taken in my area is being in the right place at the right time, they do not follow any normal logic that the other deer use, they are on theyre own schedule, on their own terms

Re: turkey guns shotguns and new to this year pistols here....i might be wrong but i think u might be able to use rifles in the western part of our state up in the mountains...but i cant really remember lol

Re: killer arrows i use the same arrow and broadhead on that arrow....i killed four with that arrow this year....just clean it off and the muzzys ready to eat again haha
