Re: Global Warming.... yea there are patterns of climate change on the earth, its been happening since the earth was created. but it all comes down to how you define global warming. if you refer to global warming as the way that humankind is SPEEDING UP this process of warming patterns then yes it is true. it might be a natural thing, but we are only contributing to the demise of human kind happening alot sooner than it should.

Re: BB gun [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Yep, it will kill. I bought my 880 waaaaay back in 1980, and my son is still killing vermin with it. Remember to only shoot legal game, or pests though. [/ QUOTE ] WHHAAT ... what about the neighbors windows? ROFL jk man dont shoot the windows ... unless there mean or something lol ... jk Steve [/ QUOTE ] Steve, you have waaaayyyyy too much time on your hands! I shoot a Daisy Grizzly pellet/BB gun in Mossy Oak camo. That thing is practically worthless. It'll sting rabbits and squirrels and will kill black birds and sparrows, but aside from that...my mom uses my Buck BB gun or my Red Rider (also by Daisy) for the cats that come looking for the bunnies to scare them off. You'd be surprised what a bb in the butt can do to make a cat clear off! I've shot the same rabbit three different times w/ my pellet gun and it's not working, so I've turned to my hunting bows. I missed him last night, it's kind of hard to get the sight pins on him in slanting rain. Dakota [/ QUOTE ] is the grizzly your talking about the one-pump model? yeah that thing sucks LOL it only shoots like 300 fps

Re: Gamo PDA pellets...huge difference yeah ive read alotta good stuff about them and i tried them the other day. was able to take a squirrel at 20 yards with a headshot from my CO2 pistol that normally shoots 430 fps on the first shot.....pretty good for a CO2 pistol

Re: soybeans honestly alot of people say soy beans work well for them, but around my place the deer dont touch them. if its a soybean field, there are all over them while the beans are still standing, but as soon as they are harvesed the deer population drops by half around here because they leave to go find corn fields

Re: Geese in foxtail field??? canada geese are natural grazers although most people dont realize it, they prefer grasses over everything unless they need to eat grains to stay warm. with the warm winter were having here ( dunno about where you are) the geese havent even touched the grain fields yet. a foxtail field would be fine but it would help if some green stuff is starting, or had started to grow in a little. goose season has been pretty lame so far here, the birds just sit on ponds all day and walk up into the surrounding grass whenever they feel hungry, the birds that do fly are going straight for horse pastures, ponds with grass around them, and winter wheat. to answer your quesion as long as youre well hidden and have some decent decoys it should definantly work out for you

Re: huge maryland buck [ QUOTE ] there is no way!! Look at the body of that deer. It's tiny compared to the antlers. That has to be a doctored picture. Not to mention the body is small in comparison to the antlers. Even a Texas deer would be more in proportion antler to body wise. [/ QUOTE ] well you can voice your complaint to everyone that saw the deer, every newspaper in the tri-state area, and the guy who shot it because that buck is the new record in my state buddy
