Re: What do you have... I've got a ten point from last year's bow season, a 24 inch brown trout, cross fox, and a coyote.

Just got a winchester model 88 .308 as a gift from my grandfather. It was made in 1955 and is in about 98% condtion. Anyone know how much it could be worth?

Re: Good gun for mom. I would agree a .243 would be a good gun for her. The 22-250 is to small for deer, if you want to go with something smaller try the .223 I know a lot of people that hunt deer with them and it does the job. If she is only going to shoot off her porch at close range how about a 30-30 they don't kick that much.

Anyone have one or know anything about them? I'm looking at getting one for predator hunting let me know how they are. Thanks.

Well, I decide to go out looking for sheds today on my land in Pennslyvania. This is what I found. The first is a single pretty good mass found it in a bedding area. The next is a matched set I found after I followed some fresh tracks in the snow. The buck jumped over a fence I put up around some apple tree's and on the other side there they lay. And the last one was a small eight point I found dead and cut the skull plate off. Sorry no outside pics it was snowing and didn't want the camera to get wet. All in all a pretty good day.
