Re: Team 27 alright sureshot sounds good.im taking my climber saturday and going to a spot deep in the woods where ive seen a few nice bucks in the past.its near a stream and is a natural crossroad in the middle of a thick woods.i snuck near the stream yesterday and there using the same crossing they always do so im hoping for something good.

Re: String or loop? i use a loop on my outback i went off the string with my last bow and i had problems with my releases damaging my serving.

Re: Gloves?? i use black mechanics wear gloves. i have great comfort with my lil goose release and there is knuckle protection in case i hit or scrape something on my way in or out of the woods.

Re: Bummed i really like hunting with my dad or a friend so you can talk about what you saw or heard but ive always done better with big bucks on my own for some reason.

Re: Team 27 my name is duane but everyone calls me brain.im 43 years old and ive been hunting since i was 7.my passion is bow hunting but i go ml hunting, shotgun and i even tried pistol hunting last year.i usually get a few deer each year so i look forward to helping the team.when everybody checks in lets pick a cool name for the team.good luck.

Re: ?? for Easton Axis users.... i shoot muzzy 75 grain broadheads on my axis 400s and i get excellent groupings.ive shot 6 deer with this setup and they blow through the deer

Re: Its huntin time well i had a great time hunting but the only deer i saw were a doe and twin fawns in a field on my way hunting and two yearlings on the way home from hunting oh well maybe next time

the tropical storm has about passed the rain has stopped the wind is dying down. in a hour or so i will take the climber and start the season.i just cant wait.nothing can calm the soul like sitting in nature.i will let you all know if i see anything.

Re: climbing stand. i use a summit broadhead backpacker. ive stuck 5 or 6 deer from it.its quiet, easy to carry and set up.
