  19. Re: question on shot placement? i always like to take out their "running gear" or shoulders! They never go far with a shot in the front shoulders and it is a very quick and lethal shot

Re: treestand or ground I like to hunt in a stand because you are less noticable to the deer but I don't think I have sat in one of our stands this year, only sat on the ground, i like ground hunting cause i can be more mobile and be on the same level as the deer, just adds a little more excitement I think!!!!!!
  24. this weekend while deer hunting i seen a bald eagle, then it was flying at me and flying towards a tree and I thought i seen a nest or something big and dark in the tree, it turned out it went diving in at two turkeys, one flew off cackling and it must have killed the other one. Later that day we walked by the area in the timber looking for my deer and my brother found a fresh dead hen! Its head was missing and was still warm and bloody! I never heard of bald eagles attacking turkeys!!!!!!!! Is this normal?
