Don't get me wrong thats not good at all but I have saw it done with many bows at the bow shop. Some of them new. It happened I don't know how many times this year with people buying brand new ones. They would pull them back then just let it go. Didn't hurt any of them. If there weren't any visible cracks or anything and its still good I'd say your fine.

Use mine all the time and have great luck with it.
